What an amazing game last week between University and Scarborough in the Preliminary Final. I thought the game was done and dusted at 3qtr time but the endeavour of the Scarborough side was incredible.

Will Trinity Aquinas albeit unsuccessful in 1986,1988 & 2012 and led by Old Aquinian, Quinten Lynch win a first A Grade Premiership for TA's or will the Subiaco older brigade come through for Aiden Parker and provide Scarborough with their fourth A Grade Flag and first since 1998.

I'm not sure if a club has ever won the flag from an elimination final in A Grade but whatever happens it will certainly be a historic result.

Good luck to both teams and I hope the game is played in the spirit deserving of the occasion.
