Well here we are! 18 home and away games followed by some cut throat finals to see who gets to drink with a premiership medal dangling in their glass!

Kingsway Reserve

West Coast Colts

Ellenbrook v Secret Harbour

Something of a boilover in the top side in Belmont going out in straight sets. There was very little between the top three sides all season but I thought they would have been there for the big dance. Previous meetings saw both home and away games decided by 7 points or less but the Eels won convincingly in the Qualifying Final. Secrets must of played well to defeat a strong Belmont side last week so it should be a cracker! The Eels to make up for the disappointment of their senior sides missing out and get up in a close one.

C3 Reserves

Swan Valley v Mosman Park

Valley have been dominant all year in their quest for back to back reserves flags. They won both encounters during the season, though the second game by only 8 points. That was at Mossie in tough conditions so whilst I think the Valley will get up, they definitely have seen Mossie as dark horses and know a few of their league boys have probably qualified to play.

C3

Swan Valley v Nollamara

These two have been the top sides all season, only dropping two and three games respectively. Valley touched Nolla up by 10 goals in round 8 and again in the Second Semi Final whilst Nolla got up by 4 goals in round 17. In my opinion Valley at their best are the better side and should win. You never quite know what Nolla will turn up to play so I'm expecting a fierce contest.

Hopefully the weather is good after a torrid winter and we can see some quality football. All the best to all teams, play hard but fair, enjoy the win for those that do and commiserations to the losers.

Cheers Birdman, unfortunately I can't make it this year. Going to be tough going against the old club next year, but at least I'm not playing! A Dingo pup may well be though!

Well another season has come and gone, congratulations to the winners and commiserations to the losers. C3 saw (finally!) a great day for football and thanks to Kingsway for putting on a great day. A good crowd was in attendance and were treated to three quality games of footy.

West Coast Eagles Colts

Ellenbrook 9.10 64 def Secret Harbour 6.6 42.

Got there before half time with the margin similar to the final result. Secrets did well to stay in touch but never really looked like closing the gap. Big congrats to Paul Saylor and his lads on a very good season.

C3 Reserves

Swan Valley 5.15 45 def Mosman Park 6.3 39

Mosman Park started very well and were in front until mid way through the last quarter. An inaccurate Valley side looked set to pay the ultimate price but were able to find a way to win. They looked fitter as the game went on and it proved the difference. Great result to go back to back and with some young talent coming through will be competitive again next year even in the higher grade.

C3

Nollamara 13.7 85 def Swan Valley 10.16 76

The league game was pretty much a carbon copy of the reserves match with Nolla getting away to a flyer kicking with a steady breeze. Valley were five goals down mid way through the second term and looking in all sorts of trouble. They steadied and managed to stem the tide until half time. A magnificent fight back in the third against the wind saw them down by a kick at the final change. Nolla were clearly tiring, Valley had four shots on goal in the first 5-7 minutes but couldn't convert, Nolla got out the back to get two kicks clear with plenty of time left. A dour struggle ensued between half back lines with Valley finally managing to goal with time left to snatch the win. Time and again they peppered the forward line but Nolla were resolute and with less than a minute left again got out the back to kick the sealer. Valley will long regret a 1 goal 8 point final quarter as they had Nolla out on their feet but just couldn't put them to the sword. Due credit to Nollamara for a great start and then holding on to go back to back themselves. The standard of footy was very good and both sides will be competitive in C2 going by that performance.

Enjoy the celebrations and drown your sorrows, it won't be long and pre season will be upon us!

Nolla might be the only team this year to go back to back?

Ballajura colts keep pumping out premierships as well - heard someone mention 5 in a row? Not sure if correct or not.

that's massive at colts level as each year the team can change dramatically

Valley did 5 from 91-95
