Results are always interesting!

Wembley dismantled Whitford, Whitford kicked a few late goals to make it look respectable, but were outclassed all day.

Collegians got the win over Kingsway.

MrM watched some of the Wembley v Whitford game and #19 for Wembley was all over #39 from Whitford. He was the true match winner.

If Whitford are to win this weekend, they'd need to start well against Wembley to have any chance of winning, as two weeks in a row they all looked to be out of puff half way through the last term, will be an interesting game next week.

As for Wanneroo Colts, they were never in the contest as a bigger and stronger Collegians side won the battle.

And in turn celebrated like they'd won the flag, sets up a good contest Wanneroo v Whitford in the colts, should be a good encounter.

As for the Reserves, Quinns who shouldn't have been in the finals, but were thanks to Whitford, go out in straight sets.

Is everyone excited for Wednesday Night ? MrM just got the call up to attend!

Fortunately the rain stayed away from Dalkeith most of the day however the wind played havoc with it being 30 - 40kmh all day blowing straight across the ground with no real advantage to either end

Collegians looked the better side in the 1st half using the ball a lot better and running harder although kingsway steadied with a couple of goals late to reduce the margin to 2 goals at 1/2 time

The 3rd qtr was again quite even until in the space of 2 minutes midway through the term, Collegians rec'd 2 free kicks just outside 50 and on both occasions rec'd 50 metre penalties that left most people at the ground scratching there heads as to what they were for resulting in goals that given the conditions effectively ended the contest (or so we thought)

Kingsway kicked a late goal to go in 4 goals down at 3qtr time but were battling the conditions along with a rather lopsided free kick count going into the last qtr (im not saying it cost them the game its just Collegians were a bit like Hawthorn - they seem to get the free kicks in the right parts of the ground!!)

Kingsway certainly had there chances with 4 shots on goal in the 1st 5 minutes of the last qtr but kicked behinds each time which sapped their confidence with the game losing momentum after that and Collegians running out 4 goal winners depsite having 3 less shots on goal.

All in all i think Collegians adapted better to the conditions and will take it right up to Whitfords this week although it did look like from where i was sitting they finsihed with 2 - 3 injured players on the bench

Mr M Have Wanneroo put in to do any finals this season? If so have they been given a Grand Final again or are you not sure?
Also seems your colts have had a super year under new coaching well done to them hopefully for them and the club they"ll beat Whitfords and progress to the GF.

No finals @Wanneroo Showgrounds as of yet, however the oval is looking pristine and better than a lot of the other ovals I've seen this season. Whitford never took up MrM generous option to move there home game since they received another home final...I'd be embarrassed if my oval looked like that...

I suspect Wanneroo may have get the D grade finals again.

B Grade to be @Bassendean again, as with A Grade in the week to follow.
