After a tight first half in tough conditions Valley had a two goal break at the half. Both sides played some very skilful footy considering in an entertaining match. The tussle continued for 5-7 minutes into the third quarter and then Valley just blew them off the park, running harder and delivering beautifully to their forwards. Considering the reserves game only saw 6 goals kicked it was quite impressive. After a few seasons doing it hard this young group has taken the club back to C2. Nollamara will host Ellenbrook in the cutthroat Preliminary Final for a chance for revenge and also earn promotion.

The Eels Have shown they are a contender and I wasn't surprised to see them getting over Piara Waters. They will like their chances against Nollamara too as they knocked them off on the last home and away game. Potentially derby grand finals in league and reserves if they can get there.
