To have sustained success in A Grade you need to have strength in all your Grades. This season the top three A Grade clubs University, Trinity Aquinas & North Beach qualified all their sides for finals in A Grade, A/Reserves, A/Colts D1, D1/Reserves & D/Colts.

The respective finishing order for the season in all grades:
Uni 1/1/1 & 3/3/3
TA 2/3/3 & 2/4/4
NB 3/2/2 & 1/1/1
CBC 5/5/6 & 5/2/2

So true Big Al and if you look at Wins and losses there is a fair gap between them and the rest in most of those grades. I would think on seasons form all 6 premiers from those grades to come from the top 3 A grade clubs.

Thoughts as to Premiers in A Grade?

Uni the one to beat still and even though TA's suffered their second loss for the season yesterday at home vs North Beach they were without Ryan Murphy and the Q stick had a very quiet one. It will be interesting to watch the replay next week at Billy Grayden. A very good crowd in attendance yesterday with Langdon, Jakovich and Ben Cameron commentating saw a cracking game of footy.

Scarborough still in the mix as well after convincingly beating their Elimination Final opponents CBC.

Week 1 of finals shaping up to be pretty interesting. Not often you get replay games one week after the other, let alone 2!

Scarborough did a number on CBC last week so would expect them to deliver a similar result - however we know CBC can beat anyone on their day. Still, I expect Scarborough to win by 3 or 4 goals.

NB had much more to play for than TA's with last week with a double chance on the line for the Tigers. Will be interesting to see how the rematch pans out. I expect TA's to get back to form & win by 2 or 3 goals.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Uni boys are down at Grayden Reserve watching their potential opponents next week!
