Does anyone know what happened at gosnells today?

dogs wanted the footy more and let there spectators swallow there words, before the game walking around saying they have a home game next weekend need a good crowd. Wycombe played 4 quarters and gosnells are bruised and battered with injuries. No finals for us but always great to finish off the year with a good win against 2nd spot.

Firstly, congratulations to High Wycombe on playing a good brand of football today. They spread very well and I'm sure took some positives for next year out of todays game.

The Gosnells boys came out of the blocks slow (probably thinking about next week) but responded well and I believe at half time there was only a point in it. The second half however brought one of the ugliest displays of umpiring I have ever witnessed. I have seen and heard about the High Wycombe umpire previously, but today he was an absolute disgrace to himself, and the High Wycombe Football Club. Any time Gosnells seemed to get momentum in the 2nd half he would pull out ridiculous free kicks and add a 50m penalty to that for so much as a side ways glance. After speaking to a few High Wycombe people I'm lead to believe he is the presidents son. This after all makes sense since it would be the only way he could actually get a gig.

This is by no means taking away what High Wycombe did today. They can now go off and enjoy there silly sunday celebrations since they have no part in the finals.

Notorios Wikki umpire back at it again with free shots on goal. The problem with him is he'd make frustrating decisions that aren't even there then pay a 50m penalty and threaten to kill your family because you murmered something in question to someone taking a mark out in front was then somehow interpreted to a push in the back to their opponent behind

Was a great day for footy with spring like conditions around Perth, the likes of which had not been seen for many weeks now. Last round saw some big wins against the bottom half of the ladder sides.

117 point win the now 2nd spot Ballajura, against the team up for relegation Coolbinia, who looks like to start the 2017 in C3. Ballajura with an impressive win setting up a home final for the first round.

Canning Vale with a point to prove getting off to a flyer, almost taking the 4th spot through percentage to get over Canning South Perth but unfortunately falling a couple of goals shy of the percentage boost required to secure a home final.

6. 2 to 0. 1 at the first change helped paint the picture to which direction the game was going. From then on the run of Thornlie's midfield piled on the goals to come away with a handy 138 point win in the lead-up to their week off for going through the season undefeated and securing the minor premiership.

High Wycombe running over Gosnells in the last half to give them their second consecutive loss, which, in the run to the finals is not the most ideal form to put yourself in. They will have to lift immensely if they are going to be a threat to Ballajura at their home ground next week.

Going off previous seasons, Ballajura reserves will play at home with Thornlie v Gosnells game being at Wyong. The Gossy faithful will have to do the mad dash from Wyong to Kingfisher

The WAAFL no longer move games during finals to keep clubs together. All qualifying finals will be at the home of the 2nd placed league team (in the case of C2, Kingfisher Reserve), while all elimination finals will be at the home of the 4th placed league team (Wyong Reserve).

They have found in previous years that by moving a finals game to help one club, they invariably disadvantage another. Thornlie would be disadvantaged by the Ballajura reserves game being moved.
