Nollamara 25.17 167 def Armadale 3.1-19

As expected really, Nollamara have been impressive after coming up from C4 and will be a force in the finals. The Demons haven't coped with the rise in grade and will struggle to stay up on current form.

Manning Rippers 18.11-119 def Dianella Morley 12.11-83

A bit of a surprise this result as the Raiders had been showing some good form. The Rippers may well take advantage of all their home games in the run home to snatch a finals post.

Brentwood Booragoon 14.10-94 def by Piara Waters 17.7-109

The Bulldogs put up another strong effort against a top side but were again not able to get over the line. It leaves them in the relegation zone but on form they should survive, games against Armadale and SNESA will define their season. Piara did enough to get third spot back with the coveted double chance.

SNESA 10.7-67 def by Mosman Park 13.9-87

Mossies have maintained the pressure on the bottom teams in the five and with the Raiders loss things are extremely tight. SNESA have been disappointing and find themselves in a real battle for survival.

Swan Valley 14.11-95 def Ellenbrook 13.8-86

The "Battle of the Burley" lived up to expectations, it was a cracking game with only a few kicks in it either way all day. The Eels kicked the first couple but The Valley dominated the second quarter to hold a half time lead. The rest of the match was an arm wrestle with the Eels threatening constantly but the home side was good enough to hold sway.

Two thirds of the season has gone and it seems the top four sides are perhaps a cut above the next group of four although a few upsets have shown it's not cut and dried. The battle from third to seventh is really hotting up so it should be a great run home.

just to get some conversation started, and I fully appreciate we were beaten by a better team, however does anyone else have an issue with piara waters umpire? he really irks me... with that stupid baseball cap on!

Number 1 for piarra was very good, as was 10, and not sure if he was trying to fool us, but number 12 from the first game wore number 5 this time

If you don't make a complaint as a club then nothing you can do.

Problem is clubs just go oh well and don't bother and therefore happens week after week.

We had ol Ronnie do colts on the weekend. He should be just about banned from umpiring. He is so bad now it's not funny. Nice bloke and all but far out he crucifies the game.
