Canning Vale on the other hand look set to be playing finals with position 4 or 5th looking likely prospects given their current form.

Thornlie having a rocket start in the first 10mins of the 1st term and then some inaccuracy in front of goal cost them hindering their chances to pull away early. The scoreboard was pretty much tied up at half time but then some great centre breaks from Thornlie and undiscipline acts from Warnbro didn't help them in the 3rd term leaving the away team 6 goals up at the last change. The last quarter Thornlie showed no signs of letting up, Warnbro having few good runs from their centre-half back line saw some great entries into their forward 50 giving the Warnbro forwards some supply but at this point the game was running out of time for them.
