So after a week off of football our players should be well rested from their 3 day bender... having a look at the line-up a few days early because we missed out on a results write up. It will be interesting to see how the sides fair up this round after the weeks rest, games tend to be able to go either way; especially if a few players are off.

Canning Vale vs. Warnbro Swans
Clifton Park

Canning Vale toppling the shocked Ballajura side the previous round in what can be described as the one of the upsets of the season. Warnbro coming off what can be described as the first draw of the season *booom-tish*
Warnbro I feel have slipped in the last two games having lost to an improving CSP side then drawing on their own turf to the Doggies... where Canning Vale on the upper-hand have lifted their game having a tight one against High Wycombe and then running over Ballajura quite comfortably.
Although form is on the up for the Cougars I still think this is Warnbro's game to lose and given they've had a week to forget about the last two games they will be ready to bounce back and knock off the CV boys in a fierce battle.
Warnbro by 25 points

Coolbinia West Perth vs. Ballajura
Coolbinia Reserve

Ballajura dropping their last couple of games in some big losses. Perhaps injuries have plagued them mid-way through the season? Unsure of this but will be interesting to note with confirmation. Coolbinia claiming their first win a couple of rounds ago only to be smashed by the form side of the comp. in Thornlie the game past. Ballajura even with an out of form team will comfortably take on the Coolie boys.
Ballajura by 78 points

Lynwood Ferndale vs. Thornlie
Ferndale Park

Lywnood would have to be a little with their season so far. Been with-in only a few kicks in nearly every contest they've lost and could be placed anywhere from pos. 4 to 8 had those results slightly differed. Coming up against the Lions this week the Thornlie side will have to be on their best because Lynwood Ferndale are no push-over side as they have proven in all their games they've played this year.
Thornlie by 35 points

High Wycombe vs. Gosnells *MOTR*
Scott Reserve

Match of the round, calling it. This is an important game for both Gosnells if they want to keep up with the Thornlie on the top of the table and could lose 2nd place to Ballajura if they let this one slip. But if the Dogs lose this one they fall out of the top 5 with the seemingly inevitable win by the CSP boys who tackle Swan View this week.
Gosnells by 14 points

Canning South Perth vs. Swan View
Wyong Reserve

Canning South Perth to get a nice percentage booster whilst their reserves side enjoy an extra round off.
Canning South Perth by 146 points

Great right up BY!

Some good games this week and we can assess the true standings with everyone having matched up once after this week.

Canning Vale Vs Warnbro
A good match up here. Canning vale showing some good signs. I'll still pick Warnbro but canning vale will go well. Warnbro by 2-3 goals but wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong.

CWP Vs Balljura
Ballajura doing better away than at home and another big ground should suit them. Too strong here and winning by 8 goals

Lynwood vs Thornlie
Lynwood are in the same kind of category as Canning Vale. Competitive and can shock here with everything going their way. But you can't pick against Thornlie. They are beating all that comes their way.
Thornlie by 5 goals.

High Wycombe vs Gosnells
Agree this is the match of the round. High Wycombe will be desperate to stay top 5. Gosnells played a super game vs CSP last round. Could be controversy with the two most one sided umpires going head to head.
Gosnells by a couple of goals.

Canning South Perfh vs Swan View
Am I the only person concerned the view won't get numbers to field a side after a week off? Rumours are players have parted to go to Sunday footy at midland. Would be good to hear if mad dog or others in the know can tell us where they are at??
Canning to win. Everyone else has smashed them so 20 goals minimum.

Good luck to all. Ladder at half way will be interesting.

Have heard Swan View have folded their League side for the year as well. Hope they can recover from this as a club

this is devastating news for swan view and the C2 comp. lets hope they can re-build and come back as a strong club next year.
On the other hand not sure what the canning lads will do now as I do believe they were due to have there ladies day.
they will have another week off in prep for Thornlie, they are only playing around the corner so they might make the trip and go have a look.

for the games on the weekend, with the weather looking like to clear up.

Warnbro to get the job done on Canning vale. by 6 goals
balla by a lot
Lynwood have been good in games but not good enough and should make a good contest against Thornlie. Thornlie by 4 goals
High Wycombe Vs Gosnells, MOTR.
for me Gosnells have those outside players that move and direct traffic really well, the doggies do like a hard hitting contest which will make it interesting around the stoppages. Gosnells by 13points
unfortunately canning south perth miss the chance to boost there percentage like the rest of the teams have already done so, but these things happen.

good luck to all on the weekend
