Big upset. Did not expect to see this result. Ballajura hitting a slump perhaps with some key players out especially since suffering that heavy defeat the week prior. Congratulations to the Canning Vale side who fell just short last week against the Doggies to clinch a win against a real quality team.

Took me back to the old Sunday league days having a few stubbies in the stand at Gosnells and witnessing a high standard of football for C2s. The Tigers dominated early and led all day. Thought they were going to run away in the third but Gosnells kept coming. Would have to say some misses in the last and dodgy umpire kept Gosnells in touch. Some of the canning supporters could have been excused for yelling abuse at the Gossies umpire who made some big errors that saw the Hawks on the better side. But overall a very good game and probably cannings fault in the end. One miss was from directly in front 20m out.

Finals like game and if canning win enough to make the finals I'd have to say they will be a danger for the other teams in the 5.

Well done to canning vale on the win at Ballajura. Shows that anyone is really a chance on the day except for swan view who must be struggling to put a side out. How does anyone push for a spot when they done have a reserves.

High Wycombe and Warnbro sounds like a cracker. Dogs03 perhaps you can fill us in ?

Thornlie roll on but as expected against Coolbinia. Almost certain to be relegated with swan view now. What happens with their automatic relegation to E grade ? Do 3 teams come into C2 or does it effect the lower grades ?

A break now then round 9. 8 teams still a chance to make the finals. Lynwood have been ok despite only having 3 wins. I will back my old club canning to make a run and make the finals. Just need to win when they should and shock a few above them. I reckon now it's half way here is my prediction.

Was pretty even all game but warnbros umpire gave away
Alot of shocking free kicks including 3 right infront of goals
Coming into the last quarter 5 goals down the dogs clawed there way
Back into the game ending in a draw.

The Warnbro umpire gave away a free kick in front of goals cause the high Wycombe fullback elbowed the fullforward in the face, that's a free kick every day of the week. There only shocking cause you don't agree, a free kick is a free kick where ever it is given. I noticed the Warnbro umpire payed some in front of goals for high Wycombe, were they shocking as well ???

I noticed that the high Wycombe umpire decided to make sure he pulled free kicks out of his arse in the last qtr, just so his side kept the ball inside the 50. Once he gets on a roll, he didn't stop!

Arrived in woop woop and just listening to the reserves side play the supporters were feral and going off but that's footy loved how vocal and passionate the supporters are. We will make sure we get just a little bit more supporters down when you boys come up

Nothing more intimidating than the High Wycombe ressie blokes getting a few frothies into them and bowling the sledges across the pitch like Brett Lee in his prime

The wycombe umpire has had a lot of haters over the last couple of seasons but i believe he umpired 100% better than warnbros umpire on the day. Also for any other C2 clubs reading this forum be aware of warnbros cheating boundary throw ins as the ruck man calls a code word and the boundary umpire throws long over the top to all warnbros loose players out the back. I even had a warnbo supporter say he was enbarrested of the decisions that were made on the day.

If anyone watching Warnbro games in the future can get evidence of the throw ins having a code word or sign please send it in to the waafl. They would probably lose points for that and rightly so.

The reason your umpire has caught crap the last couple of seasons is because he's a shocker...he actually can umpire very well and did for most of the day, but that makes it all the more obvious when he decides to cheat.....like the last qtr
Normally a club president (his dad?)going out to remonstrate with an umpire at 3/4 time would cop a card, but I guess when he's just giving instructions that's ok.?
Anyway it worked

So if the umpire pays freekicks in front of goal, they are shockers and the worst ever, but if they pay them in the back line or middle of the ground, then that's ok. if you watched the game, in the last qtr, the Wycombe umpire continually payed down the ground free kicks when Warnbro players had the ball in their own 50. that's right, there wasn't even a late tackle cause the ball was already there, but somehow he managed to find a free kick around him. He just wanted to get his side back in the game and he did it. The Warnbro umpire was consistent all day and even payed a 50 metre penalty to Wycombe in the dieing stages, but of course, don't let a good performance get in the way of telling a pack of lies
