A third of the season gone already! As I stated in my Rd 6 wrap earlier in the week this round pits the top five against the bottom five. If results go the way of the ladder then a gap will open up, still early days but it will make it that much harder for the chasing pack! Some predicted wild weather may well throw some surprises up this week so who knows?

Nollamara v SNESA

Nolla have taken all before them thus far and SNESA have not shown last years solid form, the Cougars easily at home.

Dianella Morley v Swan Valley

The Raiders are one of the clubs desperate to keep in touch with the top five. They come up against a Valley side that has been playing very well. The conditions may well suit the home team and make this close but The Valley should get up.

Armadale v Ellenbrook

I believe the Demons were well undermanned last week and with the home ground advantage may make things hard for Ellenbrook. Having said that they will need to be a lot better to challenge the Eels who should win comfortably.

Brentwood-Booragoon v Manning

Manning will be looking to cement their place in the five whilst the Bulldogs are part of the chasing pack. Bit of a local cross the river down the freeway derby I guess (Stretching it I know!) and I think the Rippers have too much at stake to let this one slip.

Piara Waters v Mosman Park

Piara have certainly struck form whilst the Mossies have been up and down. The Falcons like the wide open spaces of their patch and will be too slick at home.

1 v 10 should be a convincing win to the ladder leaders.

DM v Valley

Both teams coming off wins will make both confident, but I feel the youth of Valley will see them over the line, but it will be close.

Armadale v Ellenbrook

The unpredictable Armadale host this one. Depending on which team Armadale field, this could be game of the round. They both lost last week against top sides, and Armadale need to gain some percentage after the walloping they were given. Expect a goal fest here, but I think the Eels will produce an upset and take the points.

Brentwood-Booragoon v Manning Rippers

My Rippers got the job done last week against a fired up Mozzy. This game is a danger game for us, as I don't believe Brentwood are as bad as their ladder position would allude to. If my boys come to play we should bank the 4 points in the Southern Derby (there you go, Dingo).

Piara v Mosman Park

Piara are looking the goods at the moment, knocking off Ellenbrook last week. The tight confines of Piara Waters Sporting Complex will suit PW better so I'll pick the hosts to give Mozzy two losses in a row.
