You might want to bring out your best attire again this week MR M as it is ladies day out in the valley, the day is sold out according to the whisper getting around on Saturday night so maybe a few potential MRS M's around.

are you still offering free pints if MR M can be identified by the valley faithful?

This truly excites MrM. I do know one thing though, those at the Ath hate to be confused with those from the Valley. MrM will go stock up in his finest cologne and ensure that MrM looks the part for the women. If MrM can be spotted he will offer a free pint to the first person that does, for many think they know MrM but true fans would never reveal the real identity if this great gent. I may also indulge in a few shandy's with the local ladies, so count MrM in indeed.

Shop around,you'll find 80K is pretty cheap for a bus load of players.

It appears this game against Ath could be a game that could put either side in the very strong chance of not playing B grade footy next year. It would be a shame as both your mighty Roos and Ath played finals last season. It's well documented that Ath have lost players to the coin of the country, but what has happened this season at the once feared Wanneroo showgrounds.

Happy to answer guess who only because you're my favourite childhood game.
After finals last season we lost 2 players, both who played over 150 games. Due to retirement (want to spend Saturday's with families, definitely not too old to play football, an absolutel walk up League players.) 3 players have left to play WAFL football @Claremont. 2 are very close to playing League football as well being emergency for a few weeks now.
A few high profiled players from last season have left due to age and wanting to play some country football for money. Mix that with our appointed captain still not playing football this season due to an ACL tear sustained last year. Our stand in captain from last season and U/23's WA Vice Captain last season hasn't played this season due to a knee injury in preseason. Also a few others out with injury for the whole season, 5 players are on the comeback from ACL tears, so we have probably lost atleast 10 from our best 25 last season. All are still around the club though, which is good to see , but might not play this year.

Not the best thing to happen to a club, as we had to drop 2 sides this season, but our new President assures us the goal is to get back to 5 senior teams and 2 colts sides.
It's definitely not ideal, but gives some colts players pushing through a chance to play League football which MrM loves.

Being a swan view lad, I should point out that only 2 players from last year have left the club to wongan, and were looking to leave already. More guys have left to play at nungarin with Garth. The couple of ath boys who left to wongan could have their spots taken by view boys who went to ath. Maybe swan ath and swan view should merge? We could drink export out of vino glasses.. Loooool

Lol,not even close!

Just for clarification Wongan have 3 players from Swan Ath. One is a very good mate and the other 2 have best mates at the club,one of which played reserves at Ath last year.

Sour grapes out there princess,players leaves clubs to go play in the country all the time,I thought you's blokes would be able to cover the losses with the plethora of swans players you have dropping back each week but I guess not.

Can't wait to see you pansies down in C1!
