Wanneroo 0.0 0.0 0.0 18.13 (121)
Quinns District 0.0 0.0 0.0 10.2 (62)

Wembley 0.0 0.0 0.0 15.11 (101)
Mt Lawley 0.0 0.0 0.0 12.11 (83)

Swan Athletic 0.0 0.0 0.0 7.3 (45)
Collegians 0.0 0.0 0.0 10.14 (74)

Melville 2.3 5.4 7.7 7.9 (51)
Whitford 5.5 10.7 15.13 19.20 (134)

North Fremantle 0.0 0.0 0.0 7.12 (54)
Kingsway 0.0 0.0 0.0 7.8 (50)

Most of the results went the way as expected. Wembley defeated Mt Lawley, Collegians got one over Swan Ath, Whitford took care of Melville and MrM's MOTR prediction looked like it lived up to the billing as North Freo just defeated Kingsway.

MrM awoke early on Saturday and headed down to Wanneroo Showgrounds and it was good to see the hundreds of young kids running around having fun at the first morning of Auskick.

The Colts game was a fairly one sided affair with Wanneroo never looking like losing the contest, if it wasn't for some lairising and some sloppy play the margin could have indeed been greater. However Wanneroo Colts continue to improve each week and grabbed a nice win here as they won by 7 goals.

The Reserves game, well let's just say that this game made the North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs game look like a very good game of football. (For those who think the Friday Night game was good, obviously don't know football). The skills were bad, but not as bad as some of those haircuts from the Quinns gents. However it was Quinns, bad haircuts and all, who managed to get the chcoclates here.

As per usual MrM headed to the canteen and it was no surprise the hot chips and gravy were being bought and eaten by the bucket load. MrM went the healthier option and ordered a hamburger, as per usual it was a delight and left MrM very satisfied.

It was time for the League game and Wanneroo were looking pretty special in Blue Jumpers as they supported Beyond Blue and were quiet well supported by all those who gathered on the balcony for Past Players Day.

It was a tight tussle early on as everyone was under pressure, especially Quinns who lost a player in the opening 5 minutes after being knocked out by one of the all the Falcons, walking in front of a man when kicking isn't advisable, especially when you smother your own teammates kicks with your head. Wanneroo managed to get a few goals early as they led at quarter time.
They say not all heroes wear capes. This statement is true, the true hero on Saturday was wearing 9 for Quinns. He was playing the role of a heel (WWE reference) as he drew the ire of the crowd. This started the banter wars between Wanneroo and Quinns crowd, for which Wanneroo won comfortably, stick to what you know Quinns and it's not crowd banter.

As for the game of football Wanneroo were up by 5 goals at half time, which prompted A Quinns player to quote at half time, "It's ok boys, they choke anyways, look at there Grand Final History". Somebody did there homework it seems but MrM questions if they are right or not.

Quinns did come out and play better football during the third quarter though as some poor play from Wanneroo gave Quinns a glimmer of hope as we headed into three quarter time. For those asking, yes #9 was still carrying like a pillock as the Wanneroo crowd seemed to get the better of him.
Quinns started the last quarter well, before Wanneroo put the foot down and earned a hard fought win. If Wanneroo can maintain that form then I expect a few more wins throughout the season.

Well done to the Quinns crowd though, always enjoy some light hearted friendly banter, especially when it's all in good nature.

Righto I use to enjoy reading your cute little updates on Hot chips and player profile and also your game comments but the bulls*it about number 9 is complete (like I said ) bulls*it truth be known mate your number 14 head butted a 18 year old kid he's lucky some of the old Quinn's boys don't play anymore cos he wouldn't of walked off the field so I think props to the kid who carried on going about his business and as for banter it WAS light hearted until the muppet yelled out a borderline racist remark to one of the Quinn's boys respect to the other wannaroo boys who told him to shut up if your gonna tell your stories MRM get them closer to the truth

I agree with TheShiz. Very long sentence.

Firstly, I think I can recall the incident you're referring to and I remember that 10 seconds after the play and the umpire blew his whistle a Wanneroo player was thrown to the ground whilst, the umpire came to ball up thus the crowd wasn't happy with that treatment. However any player that back chats to the crowd and calls out rude remarks, deserves to be called a pillock.
Violence isn't the answer, so it's no surprise that they aren't playing anymore if that's what they did back in the day.

Secondly MrM sits amongst the faithful and heard no racist comments. The President of Wanneroo was sitting right there and heard it though and would never tolerate that behaviour, I think the person in question got a stern talking to.

Mr M

It looks like you should have tasted tested those hot chips from the canteen on Saturday. Seems as though they were too salty for the Quinns faithful

My thoughts exactly. Can't please everyone it seems. B7 (Cleary B1 & B2 slow sibling) couldn't even manage to spell Wanneroo correctly.

This is probably the reason Quinns spent so many years in the lower grades if that is the way you handle issues on the field, making sure players do not walk off the ground.

If you feel that MR M is not providing accurate match reports, please feel free to take the time and effort to write your own.

Couldn't have said it better myself ChampKinds.
MrM has seen this kind before, doubt B7 will contribute much else all season. Good to have him(or her) along though...has definitely made his club look a lot better.

My my my aren't you Wanneroo boys enjoying the stage at the moment. Obviously not there to watch the Colts game or apparently you were Mr M. Not noticing the antics of your runner constantly shooting his mouth off to the Quinns boys and coaching staff. Coach was told after the game that that sort of behaviour was uncalled for and arrogant to say the least. And guess what? The runner continued to do so as the Quinns boys entered the change rooms after the game. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm told he's also the team manager. Great sportsmanship....you should all be congratulated.

Gee MrM can't be aware of every single thing that is going on, so I apologise for that. It seems as though you've got an issue though. As far as MrM is aware, he's the only person from Wanneroo on here, so not sure how we are enjoying the stage. Please continue though.

If you really wanted to bicker like 12 year old school girls MrM could list a myriad of things that Quinns did as well which MrM may have frowned upon, but I choose not to waste time on such petty arguments.
