It's Round 3 this weekend as the season moves along and it just gets better. Who would have though after Two Rounds of Football we'd see Mt Lawley and Kingsway sitting atop the Ladder, while Melville and Wanneroo are yet to register a win.

The Prime Minister of Australia says "There's Never been a more exciting time to be an Australian". MrM agrees, what a time it is to be alive and we all know that we are seeing the benefits of it in WAAFL B Grade Football. It's promising to be a very close season that's for sure.
However as The Member for Wentworth strongly says, MrM will go one step further, it's never been a more exciting time to be a West Australian as the deregulation of the Potato Marketing Board moved a step closer, which means no more potato quotas to adhere to. You should thank MrM's favourite Perth-onality Tony Galati for his strong support. This is music to the ears of hot chip aficionados like MrM. Never has there been a more exciting time indeed!

In some glum news MrM had his dreams broken when it revealed there was already a MrsM. MrM has eyes and ears at most WAAFL grounds. Rumours are MrM's close confidant waited near the car for a few hours for MrsM to return but it was to no avail, she remains a "Mystery" indeed. The chase alludes MrM..

Let's get into the football, it's the only thing MrM has to look forward to on a weekly basis.

Mt Lawley v North Fremantle @Hamer Park 1

Mt Lawley will gain a better picture of where they sit after this weekend. They take on a much fancied North Fremantle side, if Mt Lawley can continue to play as they has been it will definitely be a close contest, but it will definitely need to step up this weekend. North Fremantle will be looking to make it consecutive wins this weekend and what better way to do that then knock off the side that occupies top spot on the ladder. Should be a good contest with these former A Grade sides go at it. North Freo for me will win here.

Kingsway v Wanneroo @Kingsway Reserve MOTR

MrM will declare his hand here, this choice may be a little biased, however based on last season's games and the fact they play for the "Mayors Cup" makes it easier, even though so far this season they are at opposites end of the ladder I'm willing to award this Match Of The Round.

Kingsway have made a flying starting to the 2016 season and will be more than happy with their efforts so far. If they can keep this up, then a maiden B Grade Finals appearance is a definite possibility, Past Players Day at Kingsway will add to their hopes of a big crowd. Wanneroo have not started this season as they would have liked and sitting 0-2 is a dangerous place to be. What better way for Wanneroo to bound back then an away victory. Wanneroo to win in a tight one.

Whitford v Swan Athletic @Macdonald Reserve

Whitford hit back last weekend and put in a good performance that we know they should be capable to keep up for the remainder of the season. They seem to have a potent forward line that will keep Swans Ath defenders busy. Saying that, Swan Ath showed last weekend that their backline definitely can stand up against good forward lines as they held Wembley reasonably well. Swan Ath will get another upset victory and MrM will rectify his dismal tipping again last weekend and leap a few tipsters here.
Swan Ath by 2 goals

Quinns District v Melville @Ridgewood Park

Grand Final rematch between these two sides. Quinns have continued their good form from last season and started this season well, registering a win early but coming unstuck last weekend. Quinns will be a tough team to beat at home. Melville, yet to register a win but took Kingsway right to the wire last weekend will be looking for some revenge here. Melville can't afford to slip to 0-3, but I'm tipping them to do so as the Bulls will be too good at home.
Quinns District by 2 goals

Collegians v Wembley @Dalkeith Oval

MrM gave Collegians a big wrap last weekend, only for them to fall short against a very good North Freo side (MrM tipped North Freo mind you). If Collegians are wanting to play finals football, they will need to string some consistent football together. MrM also made the mistake of giving Wembley a big wrap last weekend only for them to fall short as well. Wembley will be wanting to separate themselves from the rest of the pack with a big win here. A touch of jealously will no doubt be with the Wembley boys as they long to be one of those select few who live in the GT area. Wembley to get back on the winners list here.
Wembley by 2 goals

Good luck this weekend all. Keep working hard, keep those canteens in order and keep making MrM look like a lunatic as I often just sit here talking to myself.
