Fairly convincing wins by all teams through-out the league games- apart from the Canning Vale and Gosnells match. Scoreline looks tight and I'm guessing it would've been a cracker of a match with some pretty fierce moments.

Would love to hear some reports/feedback from the players/spectators around the grounds for this rounds games

Gossnells V Canning vale came down to last 30 seconds
Gosnells up by 3 points, ball being pumped into the forward by a cougar, but smothered off the boot, then a goal coming about in the rebound, was a cracker of a game

After a Thursday night call from Kelmscot...Warnbro colts who had a bye played a scratching with Kelmscotts second ?colts side. They were a short of players but the game was played in good spirits with Warnbo dominating. Just glad the boys from both sides got to have a kick....byes for colts suck.

The seconds played a one sided affair against Swan View running out easy winners in stifling conditions.

It is always a bad sign when a league side only has 13 or 14 players warming up with the difference made up by worn out 2s backing up after a flogging.
Despite the score line, Warnbro really had nothing to get excited about as the game never hit any heights on the skills front. I guess we just played down to their level, so I'm sure the coach will let them know all about it on the track this week with a tough clash against the old enemy Thornlie coming this week.
I'm not sure if the View just had a bad week with players not available or something, but given they don't have colts and couldn't field 2 full senior sides it is hard to see them being competitive in c2 this year?
Anyway we had a cracker crowd that also stayed to watch our thirds notch up a good win against Swan Athletic.
All in all a successful first home game for us

Canning Vale v Gosnells league was a cracker of a game that's for sure! Some simple mistakes in the last quarter cost the Cougars but take nothing away from Gosnells they capitalised when mistakes were made! Missing players and injuries caused a few double ups which we never like to see but CV's young side have much to learn and still have much better footy in them! Interesting to see how the year pans out!

Just a quick one given that I am now in retirement and thoroughly enjoying fishing season. Being honest, I have taken very little interest in C2 this season but thought this was worth mentioning.
