We're baaaaaacccckkkkkkk.
That's right WAAFL B Grade followers, MrM is indeed back for another season as 2016 is shaping up as another close season. Could a side finishing 5th take home the flag, much like Hamersley Carine last season?
MrM has already given his predictions for the potential Grand Final match, but I am open to changing my mind, so nothing is set in stone.
This could be MrM last ever post on OzFooty as the site may shut down in a few days unless a buyer is found. Here's hoping it is.
A few big questions will needed to be answered this season.
Who is fit and firing in 2016? Burning up the track on and off the field?
How will your respective club go?
Who will dish up the best hot chips?
What clubs won't even serve hot chips? and endure the wrath of MrM in his post game write up.
It's been a big offseason for many, but none bigger than MrM's favourite Perth-onality Tony Galati who fooled us all last week when he declared he'd be running in the next state election in his local electorate. That's OK by MrM you don't need to run f parliament. Mr Galati you stick to making sure those potatoes are ready for harvest, and ready to be slotted into a deep fryer for the local football clubs in Western Australia each and every Saturday. "You alright!".
Ok let's get into the football, because that's all MrM has going for him, yes for all those wondering the search for a Mrs Mysterious continues. It you think you have got what it takes, join the WAAFL tipping and challenge MrM in both the A and B Grade

Mt Lawley v Melville @Hamer Park
Mt Lawley have a lot to prove in 2016. Can they make amends for a fairly disappointing 2016. Firstly they will need to prove themselves on the field as they work back towards an A Grade berth. Secondly, what can their canteen offer up MrM, I look forward to travelling to Hamer Park. Melville face a tough match up early on and will need to be at there best. It might be a good test of where they sit though as club after being in C grade for a few seasons. MT Lawley should get the win here though.

Kingsway v Whitford @Kingsway Reserve
Kingsway should be happy with there efforts last season but will no doubt be looking to improve in 2016 as they move towards a maiden B Grade Finals berth. They face a much fancied Whitford side who will be looking to make a big statement here. They have some good recruits, but that can count for a little if they fail to perform and they don't want to be playing catch up football again, like last season. MrM thinks Kingsway could cause an upset here.

Wembley v North Fremantle @Pat Goodridge Reserve.
MOTR
Early Grand Final preview for mine. Battle of the Magpies, and most exciting of all, we might get to see a return of North Freos lime green clash strip. That's why it's Match Of The Round
Wembley will no doubt be contemplating what could have been as they let an opportunity slip to advance to A Grade last season. If they can maintain the majority of players from last season they will go very close again, especially with their depth. North Freo may find themselves a tad unlucky after being relegated last season, but should put in a massive effort to ensure they can go back to A Grade next season. MrM looks forward travelling down there later in the season and wonders if they still deliver some cheesy fruit toast. Wembley will win here though.
Wembley by 1 goal.
Quinns District v Swan Athletic @Ridgewood Park
Should be an interesting game here. Quinns, after winning C1 last season will be out to consolidate themselves in B Grade for many years to come, they face a Swan Ath side who lost a final by a solitary point last season and will no doubt be wanting to get back into the finals. If Swan Ath can carry the momentum from there Reserves Premiership last season, mixed with some good colts coming through, I can see then going far in 2016. Sorry to all at Quinns but I am tipping you all to have a relatively quite game this weekend.

Collegians v Wanneroo @Dalkeith Oval
Here we have it, Collegians return to right in the heart of the golden triangle back in Dalkeith. New clubrooms and a new coach may lead them closer to success in 2016, especially seeing they have announced via Facebook "Crowd favourite MrM in the stands on Saturday, so come on down to witness greatness". Wanneroo will be out to spoil the party this Saturday though, with a plethora of youngsters pushing through, it could mean Wanneroo field a different side to last season's finals losses. Should be a lovely affair Saturday. With a Wanneroo win to start the season.

Good luck to all this season. Play football in the right spirit. Get those deep fryers working, the oil nice and hot, grab some potatoes and the crowd will come. *Side note for Collegians, I notice hot meals will be provided throughout the day and night, here's hoping it includes chips.
MrM might venture into the heart of the Golden Triangle on Friday night and test out the local talent before the game Saturday, here's hoping GT Fridays is a thing and I'm allowed in.
