So finally, they have put all the single team clubs, into the same grade.
What a mix and what a lot of travelling.
A few ex 2 team clubs that lacked a bit of depth, with the opportunity to still have a kick and with handy players, ready to show the newer clubs what the Ammos is all about.
A few rivalries here, old and new??

Going to be the strongest E1 competiton yet, looks like any team can be a contender this year cant see any weak teams good luck to ecu in their first year of amateur footy!

Should be a great year in E1 with all one team clubs, really hard to make any early predictions as a result but this weekend should make things a bit clearer.

ROUND 1
Roleystone vs Secret Harbour
Last years premiers Roleystone on the home patch would be expecting to start the season off strong here while Secret Harbour had it tough in C3. Roley at home, doubt theyve lost there much since going to E1 grade.

Bayswater vs Forrestfield
Bayswater had a very tough year back in C4 in 2015 while Forrestfield had a big year in E3 but fell short in the big dance. Hard to pick here but Bayswater were a quality side when previously in E division so will go with them at home.

Swan Districts vs Safety Bay
Tough year for Safety Bay last year and the Swans usually start the season off strong so Ill go with them

Coolbellup vs Yanchep
Word is Yanchep are really strong in 2016 so tipping them despite the long road trip.

Ecu vs East Fremantle
Good luck to ECU in their first game in the amateurs but East Freo were a very good side last year so would think theyll still be strong and get the win.

I was at the Yanchep v Forrestfield game today. For what it's worth Yanchep look a good team but there's a small minority who think hitting blokes off the ball is great and the 3 players who racially vilified a forrestfield player in the 3rd quarter and the last, what a disgrace! There was an apology thrown around after the game which is fine but it didn't come from all three players and when it's all said and done is a cop out for the disgraceful actions on the players part. I hope the Ammo's throw the book at them. There is no place for that behaviour!
