Back for another year and can't wait for round 1. Should be a cracker with Armadale and Nolla coming up and Brentwood and Mossy Park coming down. With the strong clubs from last year keen to hold there ground and push for finals.

The Falcons have had a few intra scratch matches and with other clubs and done great. With the addition of a 3rds team and the numbers still growing we're looking likely to go far this year.

Keen to hear how other clubs are going... Whitey, loves a punt, banga etc....

G'day lads, looking forward to a cracking season.

Brentwood Booragoon had a scratchy against Lynwood Ferndale last weekend in possibly the worst heat I've ever experienced in a game. It was a great hit out with everything you expect to see in a pre season match; good marks, big hits and absolutely atrocious kicking. The dogs proved to be the better team on the day taking out the reserves game by about 13 points and the league by 30 or so?

Got another hit out against Bayswater this week so it should be a fair indication of where we're at coming into the season proper.

How do we check clearances for each team? The site isnt working?

The big rig Jordy Mast has been a no show to most of the valley pre-season. Apparently a split toe nail has him listed as "indefinite"on the injury list. A cruel blow to him and the competition.

New grounds for the Brook and an upgrade for the Rippers I hear?

Yeah, Eels playing out of the new grounds now, a couple of night games here and there as well.

Manning playing the first half of the season away while the renos are happening should make their back half easier for them.

Anyone think its a good or bad thing for Manning having to play the opening 9 games away??

If it`s to do with facilities being upgraded nobody should be complaining. Better than the club going into hibernation and loosing players and starting from scratch. Down south Eaton are in a worse position as this season they don`t have a home ground as their facilities and ground are being upgraded. No complaints from those I have spoken to from the SWFL.

Sorry i meant more fir their W/L record. Playing first half of season away then last half all at home, will that be an easier or harder fixture in the long run?
