G'day Crew
Just interested to know what clubs in A,B and C1 grades are charging for membership fees and game fees for players. Currently reviewing our set up and am interested to know what other clubs are doing. Please clarify seniors, student and colts if you can. Cheers

C1 this year membership fees from $70 to $225 (Most around $150)
Ball fees on top from $10 to $25 a game

B Grade Club

Seniors
- Membership $270
- Game fee $10
- Players get club polo and no charge for tape as part of membership

Colts
- Membership $270
- Colts get club polo, shorts, socks and no charge for tape as part of membership


We use to do $150 membership and $20 game fees. We found at $20 that when players got behind in match fees it was hard for them to catch up the following week, especially students and those on limited incomes.

We made the change to the current structure and have very few problems with match fee payments and very few complained about the higher membership. Overall we collected a much higher amount in memberships and fees even though if you played every game the new format was cheaper, got most of the funds up front and moved the risk from the club committee back onto the player.

If a player played 3 games or less and had to stop playing due to injury or work issues we would refund the membership.
