Went and watched my first A grade game in a while and jeez are CBC really a top 4 side?? WC were hardly challenged all day and the only stat CBC won was sledging and even then it was from 5 drunk guys in the pocket watching.

WC looked very slick indeed and will Roll Uni next week and have a mammoth task against the Peel of the WAAFL T/A's.

Wesley Curtin will not be facing Uni next week Turtle, but will be off to the shoebox to take on TA after Uni had a comfortable four goal victory. Would have had Uni flag favourites going into the finals, so no surprise for me there. Don't get me wrong, TA is a very side, but sometimes people looking from outside get a bit caught up in their three big name recruits (Lynch, Embley and Murphy) . From what I have seen this year, both Uni and WC have better depth (and I mean true league quality depth in their best side rather than that which may cover of long run of injuries) and it could easily be a repeat of the GF for the last couple of years. WC seem to have pushed a button to take their game to a new level over the last couple of weeks with 80+ points finals victories but the question will be if they can maintain that. If they do, they are every chance to advance to the GF.

WC also have a few very handy ex WAFL players in their team and looked very slick and a big diff was they used the breeze a hell of a lot better.
