It was at the end of the game numpty, and one of the Jandakot kids grabbed the umpire by the shirt and threatened him, the Ballajura runner acutually grabbed him and moved him away before he did something really silly.
3 red cards to them will have them a couple down this week and next if they get through.

Would also like to congratulate Ballajura on their pending elevation to C2.
One of the clubs currently in C3 that is ready to take the step up and be competitive across all the grades.

In this weeks League game I think Ellenbrook may just get over the line, If the game is played with the same type of intensity and aggression at the ball as last weeks encounter between Ballajura and Ellenbrook, its going to be an absolute belter of a game to watch, Swan Views physical pressure around the stoppages will be ferocious and that has the potential to turn the game their way.

In the two's this is another game that could go either way, SNESA has a fair few league boys running around in that side, and their run and spread is dangerous, but both Dianella and Ellenbrook came close to beating them.
Ballajura, Ellenbrook and Swan Valley have been the best teams all year and I'm going with Ballajura by about 4 goals, they threatened The Valley all day in some challenging conditions and lost one of their more dangerous players early in the piece but just got pipped at the post.

Congrats to Balla on all 3 teams making their respective grand finals. No easy feat and shows the depth.

Great day for The View out at Coolamon and heartbreak once again for the Eels!

Eelenbrook got off to a flier kicking the first 4 goals of the game with the aid of a breeze in a 10min blitz. From there on general play was quite even and The View had their chances but missed a couple of sitters whereas Eelenbrook had scored easy goals. Still,7 shots to 5 showed the View had plenty of the ball.
It was quite evident from the outset that The View were a fitter side and in the 2nd it stated to show. A couple of The Eels were coming off knackered and plenty of hands on hips. Swan View controlled play but didn't put the score on the board and at half time there was only a point or 2 in it.
The 3rd qtr was going to be telling! Could The Eels get out to a decent lead with the breeze or could the View hang on? Well,no and yes. The best defence in the comp were superb and there was again less than a goal in it at the final change.
This is where the better fitness was about to come through and in my mind there was no doubt the View would get it done bearing in mind they were kicking with that breeze. And it was just about all one way traffic. Although The View didn't pile on the goals they controlled most of the qtr to run out comfortable winners.

Unfortunately there will probably be a couple of players missing next week but I'm sure they'll be doing what they can to get them available. If the View are to win they'll need to lift the bar again and make sure that when they are controlling play they get reward on the scoreboard. And a slow start against Balla will mean curtains.

The game will be played at Wanneroo Showgtounds which is poor in my opinion. It's no where near either club and while facilities may be ok the oval is known to be a mud pit with a bit of rain so hopefully we don't get too much thurs/fri,although it would probably help The View.
