Well it's a new week of finals and things couldn't be more exciting, we are now down to 4 teams and after this weekend it will be 3. Each club has stated their case as to why they deserve to be here and it's now up to them to show us all why they belong.
It's going to be an interesting weekend with some storms forecast for Saturday it could play havoc given both grounds will provide different challenges. Imagine trying to move the ball from one end of the ground to the other at Millington, it will be tough work. Then again, the tough mudder battle that will be on at The Showgrounds will be another interesting challenge.
As we take another step into finals it's important to remember the truly important things and that's keeping the crowd and players happy by maintaining a full functioning canteen. As mentioned last weekend why not head to one of MrM's closest confidants stores to pick up your produce. Tony G will be very welcoming to all those who wish to stock up on the potatoes ready to get those hot chips pumping out, cold weather plus hot chips = money for jam. MrM would go close to fixing Australia's economy. But MrM will channel his inner Bruce here
"It's going to be a big weekend of football isn't it?" ,MrM's just got the feeling is going to be a bit speciaaaalllll."
Semi Final 1 @Wanneroo Showgrounds
Reserves
Wembley v Swan Athletic
Previous meetings this season
Wembley 10.6 (66) defeated Swan Athletic 9.8 (62)
Wembley 8.7 (55) defeated Swan Athletic 5.11 (41)
Wembley looked a touch off last weekend and Whitford were able to capitalise on that. Wembley will need to bring their A game as they wouldn't want to head out in straight sets, it will be tough seeing as both Colts and League are playing at Scarborough and support could be lacking. Swan Ath will be buoyant after a win last weekend and may regain a few guys from the League side. On the flip side they may be disappointed after bowing out in the League game last weekend. It will be a good game, but I can see Wembley being too good here.

League
Wanneroo v Hamersley Carine
Previous meetings this season
Wanneroo 8.14 (62) defeated by Hamersley Carine 9.11 (65)
Wanneroo 11.12 (78) defeated Hamersley Carine 11.5 (71)
It's a do or die clash this weekend at Wanneroo Showgrounds and what a contest we have in store, with the previous matches being close encounters. Wanneroo will need to rebound after being disappointing last weekend and what better way to do that than being home in front of a parochial crowd. Hamersley would have gained plenty great confidence after winning by 1 point last weekend and will carry that momentum into this weekend. I'm tipping another close game but Wanneroo will get it done this weekend.

Semi Final 2 @Millington Reserve
Reserves
Scarborough v Whitford
Previous meetings this season
Scarborough 9.8 (62) defeated Whitford 3.8 (26)
Scarborough 12.9 (81) defeated Whitford 9.6 (60)
Scarborough have been the bench mark of the Reserves competition for majority of the season and should thank the League side for the reason they are playing at home this weekend. If Whitford come out and play like they did in the second half last weekend they will put up a very good contest, especially if they fix those goal kicking woes. It will be a high quality Reserves game, with Scarborough to get the win for mine.

Scarborough v Wembley MOTR
Previous meetings this season
Scarborough 10.9 (69) defeated Wembley 8.10 (58)
Scarborough 10.9 (69) defeated by Wembley 13.3 (81)
This is easily Match Of The Round and if anybody disputes that well they know nothing about B Grade Football, it's going to be a very good game at Millington Reserve .
Scarborough earned themselves a week off last weekend after finishing the season off in top place. That all counts for nothing this weekend though as a Grand Final birth is at stake for the winner of this game. If Scarborough can get the ball out of the middle of the ground and restrict Wembley going forward it will go a long way to ensure a win. Wembley should be very confident after defeating Scarborough in the final game of the season and after watching them last weekend they will hold no fear of any opponent. As previously stated the game will be won or lost in the midfield. Wembley may have a few injury concerns but I think they will win this weekend, book a spot in the Grand Final and A Grade in 2016.

Should be another fantastic weekend of football. So get out and watch the game. MrM suggests taking an umbrella if you do, things are going to get a little wet.
