The Brentwood Booragoon Football Club, formed in 1978, currently fields 3 x Senior teams and 1 x Colts side in the WAAFL Competition. We are seeking a Head coach for 2016 after the retirement of Club Legend Mark “Spider” Sinden.
After reaching Grand finals in 2013 and 2014, the current year had its own challenges due to player injuries. We still consider our club to be in a strong growth phase and are seeking a coach who can take our young playing group to the next level.
Applicants should possess the following required attributes:
• Experience in motivating and training senior players to success
• Experience in season planning in line with a specific game style
• The ability to recruit players through established networks
• The ability to present to a high standard as the Head of Football at BBFC
• A desire to engage younger players, including colts and older Junior players, throughout the season.
• The ability to work effectively with the BBFC team, including other coaches and committee members
• Minimum Level 1 Coaching Accreditation
The club will be undergoing renovations over summer which will result in both ovals at Karoonda being floodlit to match play standard, improved social and changing rooms and facilities. We are seeking a coach who can capitalise on this period of growth and represent the club to the highest standard as we seek to improve across all areas of our operations.
