This is a disgraceful thing to say about a young man! And no the umpires son is not the boundary umpire this place gets more and more pathetic every time I come on here to read... Wendy your from noranda yes??? Didn't I read a few weeks back that there was a complaint about your umpire in your E grade saw 1 club said something then a few others came out and said the same thing... They get out there an umpire to their best ability what more can you ask of people when there isn't enough association umpires to be sent to each game.... I have also seen hw umpire not hesitate to call his own players out and penalise them with 50's and cards so if he was a blatten cheat why would he do that gets all abit confusing when you see an umpire getting slandered from teams that have lost the game and tends to be the same clubs looking for an excuse to why they lost???? All abit to dramatic for the football world....

I thought the rule book says you need to be older than 15 to do goal or boundary umpiring in any grade? I guess if a club cant follow that rule, then that club cant be expected to follow the real rules......

A) how is what I have asked disgraceful? It was a simple question as I thought the way they carried themselves was similar. Something a son might learn from his dad.

Actually his son doesn't run boundary at all his son does the goals and is a very well mannered respected kid you guys are all making a big thing for nothing and yes his father is the president but a good president at that. I don't think Hw are breaking any rules they're just an amateur club like everyone else.... Seems like a lot of people don't like loosing on here and like I said the games I have seen of highwycombe this year the umpire has penalise both teams all umpires make mistakes but I certainly don't think there is any cause for blatant cheating... The boys at hw are playing some good football this year from what's have seen which is only a few games this year.
When ever you see a team get beaten this year have never seen it say the others were just better on the day everyone is playing the blame game....

Wendy no apology coming your way your having a dig at the kid in question for you questioning his call which in most cases umpires don't see everything and like you said his just a kid trying to get in the game to help out and be involved why mention the kid at all.... How do you think he would have felt getting yelled at a bunch on adults she he is trying his best.... Just like everyone else would in automatic defensive mode??

Wonder if any formal complaints have been made to the amatuers about the said umpire or club.... Or just winging due to loosing... I see a few officials at games watching the umpiring never heard a complaint from them ??

Theotherhalf, please answer my question, is the kid in question over 15 like the rulebooks says he needs to be or is he younger than that?

Be keen to see if the club is following the most basic of rules as set out by the WAAFL

We haven't lost to HW so cant be sooking.

Well we know for sure the HW umpire Wont be doing any Finals
