CWP(5th) v Thornlie(1st) @ Coolbinia Reserve

Last time Thornlie 7 16 58 defeated CWP 6 14 50

Not sure what the weather was like last time these two played, judging by the score it might have been wet.... or the defensive pressure was very good. A win to Thornlie will seal top spot however a loss will open the door for Kenwick. Should be a great game, I think the home ground advantage will get CWP over the line in a tight one

Brentwood will play their last game in C2 before heading back to C3 next year, Canning Vale will be looking to finish the season on a high. Can't see this being a close one though. Good luck to Brentwood next year, I hope you rebound and head back to C2 as they are a decent bunch of blokes and they will always stick around for a beer win, lose or draw.

Noranda will be looking to secure the double chance, a loss could see them into an elimination final. For this reason alone Noranda will win this comfortably, let alone the long drive for the Warnbro boys, could be a messy bus trip home....

High Wycombe(4th) v Kenwick(2nd) @ Scott Reserve MOTR

Last time Kenwick 10 11 71 defeated High Wycombe 10 7 67

This is the game that will have the most effect on the top 4. If Thornlie lose to CWP it will open the door for Kenwick to pinch top spot and get the week off, whilst High Wycombe will be hoping for Warnbro to pull off a miracle so if they win they get the double chance. Will be a great game, I hope it is a clean game as no one would want to get rubbed out with finals next week. I think Kenwick will have more to play for and they should get the chocolates

Like Brentwood, Saturday will see Mosman Park play their last game in C2, I can't see this game being a close one, if it is the blowout I am predicting I hope some players don't get bored and go the knuckle. Canning South Perth in a canter.

My Tips

CWP - I hope so anyway gives us a chance to finish top two years in a row.

Canning Vale in a canter - it's unfortunate for the Brentwood boys but hopefully they can go down and rebuild

Noranda - Warnbro will hope to finish the year off strongly and finish 6th but Noranda should be too good

Kenwick - should be a good game last time was a really close physical contest hoping for more of the same.

CSP - a win for CSP could have them finish 6th. from what I heard injuries ravaged this side. will look to heal up and come back next year.

Canning Vale - dissapointing year for these guys off the back of their previous seasons, but I think they should get the job done
Warnbro - long way to travel for Noranda and I think that Warnbro will bounce back nicely
High Wycombe - probably the biggest home ground advantage

Would I be right in saying the HW ump's son is the HW boundary umpire?

I say this because we questioned an out on the full decision (not in an over the top matter either, it was more like "no it wasn't") and the 8'year old back chatted the crowd just like the HW umpire.

Wrong again I see. What is wrong with the youth of today. We have seen some appalling umpires over the years and to be honest the HW umpire is one of the most consistent ones I have seen for years. If anything I think the boys at HW cop more penalties against than for them. To bring whom you suspect is his young son in on your adolescent bs is taking a bit too far don't you think. We are wanting to encourage the youth to push strong through the grassroots. Not many young ones compared to my day, most likely because of this BS.

Surely your joking right? It's either you taking the piss or your the umpire in question?! HW umpire is possiabity the biggest cheat I have ever seen in my life. He is easily just as bad as Old Doug. Im looking forward to seeing how high Wycombe go without this cheat in the finals!!!
