Here we are, we have reached the penultimate round of the 2015 B Grade season. We still have a few things to decide so plenty to play for, for nearly every side. With all spots in the top 5 up for grabs no side will want to lose this weekend, especially given how tight it is with all of the sides involved and a loss at this time of the year isn't ideal. MrM becomes hesitant when asked to do a ladder predictor but I think the top 5 in order will be

Scarborough
Wanneroo
Swan Athletic
Wembley
Hamersley Carine

That's right folks, MrM thinks Swan Ath might upset Scarborough this weekend and Scarborough will take revenge out on Wembley the week after. Unless Scarborough lose their last two they will finish top. Wanneroo, need to win the last two to secure second, form indicates they might. Wembley and Swan Ath both play Scarborough so perhaps it could all change there, but I'll stick by what I said. Hamersley just need to win the last two games and they will stay in fifth position, where they finished last year.

MrM is looking forward to the last few rounds and I'm hoping my ladder predictor is correct, because I'm trying to restore my credibility as my last ladder predictor left a lot to be desired. As the season draws to a close some of you will wonder how you can get your Tony Galati information, well listen to your favourite FairFax Radio station and you may find he's on there spruiking his local stores. However I know everybody is here to talk football, so it's football I shall discuss.

Hamersley Carine v Stirling @Carine Open Space

Last time they met
Stirling 9.13 (67) defeated by Hamersley Carine 11.10 (76)

If Hamersley want to play finals they will need to win this and try to earn themselves a nice percentage booster. A loss and they could find themselves outside the top 5 for the first time all season. As for Stirling, it's pretty much all over for them, as they barely have a pulse, but they are still alive in B Grade, a loss and it's all over and back to C Grade. Hamersley should monster Stirling here and send the Saints marching.
Hamersley Carine by 8 goals

Swan Athletic v Scarborough @Fawell Park MOTR

Last time they met
Scarborough 16.11 (107) defeated Swan Athletic 7.7 (49)

Well it's an early mini final for both of these sides, Swan Ath need a win to try and get back into that top 3, while Scarborough will want a win to secure that top spot, so it's an easy selection for Match Of The Round.
As said, Swan Ath need a win to keep alive their hopes of climbing back inside that top 3 and earning the double chance, they could still finish Fifth and lose that home final altogether, so it's a lot to play for. Scarborough will want to atone for last weekends slip up and prove they are the best side in the competition by securing the top place here. If Scarborough do lose this weekend, the match against Wembley becomes all that more important, for both sides. It's of MrM's belief that Swan Ath will win here, but just.
Swan Ath by 4 points

Whitford v Kingsway @Macdonald Reserve

Last time they met
Kingsway 14.10 (94) defeated Whitford 12.6 (78)

Whitford still cling to that hope of getting into the finals, but they may have left their run too late. Relying on results to go your way isn't where you want to be but that's the position they have found themselves in, so they will do what they can and keep winning. Kingsway are still a slim chance of being relegated, but it probably won't eventuate. Staying in B Grade will be a good result for this building club. I'm not fussed if either side wins but I'll have to tip a winner here so I'll go with Whitford to defeat Kingsway in "Handbag Cup".
Whitford by 4 goals

Wembley v Collegians @Pat Goodridge Reserve

Last time they met
Collegians 12.13 (85) defeated Wembley 8.8 (56)

If MrM has said it once, he has said many a time, beware of Wembley. They are coming home with the wet sail (or is it s winged keel?) and have taken all before them. If they managed to win their next two games they still may finish third, but they will have the confidence of knowing they can beat anyone. Collegians aren't to be counted out, they took care of Wembley last time and are still a chance for finals themselves. Can the college boys do it again and cause the upset? Sadly Collegians it's a no from me.
Wembley by 4 goals

Wanneroo v Maddington @Wanneroo Showgrounds

Last time they met
Maddington 10.11 (71) defeated by Wanneroo 12.12 (84)

Wanneroo are looking to wrap up second spot on the ladder with wins in the remaining two games of the season, however nothing is a given and they will need to be on there game to get a win here as they face a Maddington side with nothing to lose. Maddington as we know will be in C Grade in 2016, but that doesn't mean they won't go down without a fight as they look add to there 1 win this season. For them though it won't happen this weekend as Wanneroo should prove to strong at home .
Wanneroo by 5 goals

Good luck to all this season. Let's finish this season off strongly and remember to all have fun.

Another good write up Mr M,

My predictions are

Scarborough - Best team all year by far.
Wanneroo - get an even spread from everyone.
Wembley - Building at the right time.
Swan Ath - Holidays/engagement parties at wrong times.
Hamersley - Struggling to hold on.

Scarborough the team to beat, will play either Wanneroo or Wembley in the big one.

This weeks tips,

Hamersley Carine v Stirling
Stirling have nothing to play for - Hamersley by 10 gls

Swan Athletic v Scarborough
Scarborough by 5 gls. Ath missing to many key Players.

Whitford v Kingsway
Whitfords by 6 gls to keep alive the slim chance of finals

Wembley v Collegians
Wembley to grab hold of 3rd spot and win by 5gls.

Wanneroo v Maddington
Wanneroo to cement 2nd with 10 goal win.

A truly sad day. Maddington have informed Wanneroo they will not be fielding a colts team this weekend and have forfeited the fixture. Not a good sign for the club you can't even manage to round up 15 kids under the age of 20 to play a game of football. I agree with Hawkeye.. It could be a while before we see Maddington pushing for A grade again, let alone getting back to B grade would be tough.
