SWAN VIEW vs COCKBURN - While there is a fair gap between these 2 on the ladder they both have plenty to play for with The View still striving for a top 3 finish and Cockburn having a mathematical chance of avoiding relegation although that is highly unlikely! Just as unlikely is Swan View falling out of the 5 but it's still possible.
Here I don't think the game will reach any great heights and The View will do enough to get the W.

EELENBROOK vs PIARA WATERS - GOTR - The only clash which sees 2 top 5 combatants this weekend and it's another test for Piaras ladder leading credentials. It's also a chance for the Eels to keep in touch with the top 2 and to take one of those spots. For what it's worth,as high flying as these 2 are I still don't think either are the best team in the Comp.
Anyway,here I'm expecting a close contest and if Eelenbrook are to have any impact on the finals this year they'll need to show something here or that straight sets exit will be looming once again. A real toss of the coin job here and it's landed heads.

DIANELLA vs BYE - I'm tipping that Secrets won't have enough with the colts playing at Jandakot. If they are able to scramble enough together then they'll lose by 193 points.

MANNING vs SNESA - The other interesting game of the round. Snesa need a win and a big one! Lose and it's curtains for season 2015,win and it sets up a huge clash against the View next week. Manning would love a win to assure survival but also need to restrict the damage if it starts to go wrong.
Snesa will win but it won't be by a lot as James Miller oval is a hole,and that's before the rain comes!
Snesa by 4 goals.

BALLAJURA vs SWAN VALLEY - if the Valley can't beat Eelenbrook at home then they can't beat Balla,the best team in the comp,away. Ballajura will be looking to fine tune before an assault on top spot next week against Piara.
Balla by at least 5 goals.

Onto this weeks games

Swanview v Cockburn - The view were good last week, unfortunately bad kicking cost them, they are big bodied and work well around the stoppages. Cockburn are done for the year and look to be heading towards C4 next year, they sit a game behind Manning and Manning have still to play Secrets....The reserves game could be a ripper with the winner looking to seal a spot in the 5, I pick Swan View to bounce back this week and win by about 6 goals.

Ellenbrook v Piara - agree Maddog match of the round based on where the sides are sitting on the ladder. Ellenbrook need to continue winning if they want to stay in touch with the top two and try to get a home final, they will like their chances at home on their big oval. Piara continues to win, even when they don't play well. I expect this to be a great game but im going for Piara to run out the game stronger here and look to seal up a top 2 spot with a win by around 10 points.

Dianella will get the week off, secrets wont make it that far north

Manning v SNESA - well the SNESA roller coaster took another turn this week loosing convincingly to Dianella. Seems they tend to loose important games. Personally I cant see them making the finals now they are 2 games out of the 5 with three to play, they would need some luck to run their way in the last three weeks, Manning continue to play well in patches, and if they can cover the spread of SNESA and keep an eye on a couple of their mids I can see Manning pulling off an upset. Manning by 1 point in the wet......

Ballajura v Swan Valley - One would think Ballajura here on their own oval. The only issue is how will they handle the heavier bodies of the Valley. If the Valley can make the game an in close affair they will be half a chance of getting close and putting pressure on Balla. If given space to run and allowed to play their own game Valley can win easily. I will tip Ballajura by about 5 goals in a bruising encounter.
