Well MrM and a friend were discussing football this week and they asked how many rounds remain, and I came to the realisation that we have only 4 rounds of football left and for 5 teams it will be season over. This saddens MrM, as I'll miss our weekly chit chat and banter, because people are so on edge during finals and the banter seems to dwindle and turn into something that resembles hatred. MrM has no time such activities and I'll try my best to remain positive, that being said I cannot guarantee it. Still a lot to play for in 2015 for many sides as we get close to the end we may see some sides wilt under the pressure as for Maddington a loss this weekend will seal their relegation plight, while Stirling have a glimmer of hope. At the other end of the ladder, we still have the order to work out with two sides knocking on the door to enter the Top 5.
A keen observer of The West Australian would have noticed MrM's confidant in the business pages this week, that's right Tony Galati was again fighting the good fight for the people. He is looking for the State Government to make a larger investment into the Ord River irrigation scheme and for one I think he is on the money, good on him for wanting to make a difference, it's something that is desperately needed. On a sadder note, condolences to Don Randle's family after the Politician passed away this week.
With that in mind, let's get into this weekends football.
Collegians v Kingsway @Allen Park
Last time they met
Kingsway 8.7 (55) defeated Collegians 7.12 (54)
Well weeks after writing them off Collegians are still a chance to play finals in 2015. If they can manage to win all remaining games then they will go very close to reaching that fifth spot on the ladder, but it all starts this weekend. Kingsway will need to win to ensure they don't go anywhere near ninth on the ladder, they have a two game buffer over Stirling, but cannot rely on that to make sure they don't go down. Collegians with a few back (maybe, just speculating) will win here.

Hamersley Carine v Swan Athletic @Carine Open Space MOTR
Last time they met
Swan Athletic 4.16 (40) defeated by Hamersley Carine 10.12 (72)
Well with both these sides in a bit of a form slump, it may suprise some that I've awarded this Match Of The Round, but given both these sides desperately need a win, it makes this game huge in the context of the B Grade Ladder.
Hamersley are sliding down the ladder and have produced none of that form which saw them up the top of the ladder early on in the season. If they lose here they risk only being a loss away from slipping out of the Top 5 altogether. A win is also vital for Swan Atheltic who would be looking to lock in themselves in the Top 3 and earn that double chance. Neither side can afford to lose and neither side will want to lose, so you can see this as a mini final. At home Hamerlsey should win, but Swan Athletic will not make it easy. I'm tipping Hamersley to upset the order and walk away with a win here.

Whitford v Scarborough @MacDonald Reserve
Last time they met
Scarborough 7.8 (50) defeated Whitford 7.6 (48)
Whitford are making a desperate attempt to play finals and are storming home with the goal of slipping into the last spot in the Top 5. A win against Scarborough would be a massive scalp and show they are a threat, a loss and it could end their hope. Scarborough just need to win and show everybody why they are the side to beat this season. A win against a side on the march will be a big boost heading towards finals, if they lose they will still be in Top spot but still plenty of work to do to hold onto it. MrM says Scarborough should get it done here with some ease.

Wembley v Maddington @Pat Goodridge Reserve
Last time they met
Maddington 6.8 (44) defeated by Wembley 7.12 (54)
Wembley are coming and a big win here should show everybody they are a genuine contender. They are now only a game off third spot and after this weekend it could be half a game behind third. They face a Maddington side with nothing to lose as they need to win at all costs. Maddington shouldn't be resigned to the fact they will be relegated as they still have a glimmer of hope they can survive. However a win this weekend may be unlikely as Wembley should put them to the sword and I think you'll hear "Bless Them All" 3 times on Saturday.
Wembley by 10 goals
Wanneroo v Stirling @Wanneroo Showgrounds
Last time they met
Stirling 7.11 (53) defeated by Wanneroo 11.16 (82)
Wanneroo should be seething after last weeks loss, as they only really played 1 good quarter of football and won't want to disappoint the crowd at home this week. A win is vital to maintain their place in the Top 3. Stirling, well they need to win to give them any hope of avoiding relegation, but it's still an uphill battle. They face a Wanneroo side looking to rebound after last week. Wanneroo to put the foot down and win.

Good luck to all this weekend. You never know MrM may be out and about on Saturday, so look out for that ladies and gents, more so the ladies.
