The View Are Genuine Contenders! - Yesterday The View had their best team in for the year and completely dominated a fellow contender! The scary thing for the comp is that they can still improve. We may still see a couple of indifferent displays because of the fifo's but when they are all on board The View might just be the best team in the comp!
As for Eelenbrook,flat track bullies! Not sure how they were 2nd before yday but they have some big fat guys who are useless against run and carry and I'm not sure what it says when your captain is a 45yo. Mustn't be much leadership coming through the ranks! Also,one of their best players in Woodsy wants to play Ressies but they keep picking him in the League team lol

Snesa Keep The Dream Alive - The upset of the round occurred when Snesa got up in a close one over League leaders Piara Waters. With wins over Balla and Piara and a close loss to The View its apparent that on their day Snesa can match it with the top sides however the gap between their best and worst is pretty big considering last week they got a touch up from lowly Valley. They probably need to win 5 of the last 6 to make the 5 and the clash against Dianella is a must win!
Piara got a bit of a wake up call and it doesn't hurt to drop one at this stage of the year when your a game clear. They'll want to rebound quickly however and should do so against a stuttering Dianella.

Dianella Stop The Rot - The Raiders managed to get back on the winners list in controversial corcumstances and keep 2 games clear of Snesa in 5th. In doing so they also keep alive the chance of a top 3 finish but they still seem vulnerable. Next week will tell us a fair bit about whether they can challenge the top teams for the rest of the season.
The Valley couldve secured their spot in C3 for next year but are now in a 3 way battle to stave off relegation. They are the most in form team of the 3 and could cause an upset or 2 in the final 6 rounds. I've noticed a trend in recent years that they start of really slow and then become more competetive as the season progresses.Something they'll need to address next year and beyond.

Balla Back With A Bang - Any doubts people had in recent weeks about the strength and quality of Ballajura have been put to rest. They smashed a hapless Manning and set up a huge encounter next week against Swan View. Kicking 30 goals in what would've been tough conditions and away from home shows the Balla Boys have their bite back. Still the favs for the flag!
Manning have fallen to 2nd last with a couple of big losses that has put a decent dent in their %. After looking to have improved leading up to the mid point of the season they've fallen away badly and will need at least 2 wins to stave off relegation.

Cockburn Still Kicking - While a win like this looks convincing,the Warriors pretty much only had to show up to be guaranteed the 4 points! They've stepped out of the bottom 2 but another win is needed in the next 6 weeks in order to have any chance of staying in C3. The clash against Manning will be a determining factor for both clubs.
Secrets must be applauded for fielding 2 sides once again and it was good too see the ressies get a 1 point win which would've been a fillip for the club. Then although not getting a win in the League at least they managed to have 8 scoring shots and kick 4 goals. Sadly it will probably be back to the norm next week with a daunting trek to take on the best downhill skiers in the comp. What makes it harder is that next week the colts have a winnable game against The Valley so you don't really want to miss out on that. At least it's not too far between the Valley and Eelenbrook in order to double up or treble up.

I wouldn't be calling our umpire a cheat when Frank dishes up the crap he did yesterday which has been standard his entire time umpiring. Not sure what game you were watching if you somehow think he was cheating. Try opening your other eye.

The problem with Frank is he's shit for both teams he is no way bias towards DM.

So Frank makes shit decisions and he's average. Our umpire makes some and he's a cheat? Fair logic in that.

I've only just woken up after a much needed snooze fest today! It was a huge week of planning and it definitely took it its toll on me but it was well worth it! July the 4th is such a massive day and this year I out did myself.
63 hot dogs to set a new world record. Hopefully the guys will donate to the player trip fund and send me to the You Ess of Aye next year so I can defend my crown. I was quite emotional at my speech and shed a fake tear or 2 just to make sure everyone knew how much it meant to me.
By the way,did I mention how good Swan View played yesterday? I was barred up it was that good and I almost put a carton on for the boys. But then we'd be breaking rules and that's something I only do when it suits me lol

Frank is a cheat too,always has been,and it's no coincidence that he was umpiring when Dianella needed an important win!
Our umpire is the best,the one with the beard,he's almost biased against us he's that fair!Hopefully we have him next week and he can keep that cheat from Ballajura under control!

How can Frank win the league game for Dianella when he dosnt even umpire league at dmfc. Just Saying
