Well some big games to come this week, as we round out the second third of the year.

Before we speak about round 12, for the benefit of Maddog and others, not it wasn't me that did the biting, however as this is still under investigation I am muzzled and there is nothing more I can say. I think Old Warrior got it right when he said for the most part both sides went at it nice and hard.

So onto Round 12
Swan View v Ellenbrook - Definitely game of the round. Swan View at home are a very hard team to beat. The play their own ground well, and have an ability to pressure the other side into silly mistakes. Ellenbrook on the other hand are rolling along nicely, beating everything put in front of them each week. If they can get their runners into space they will be hard to beat here. I think a lot will depend on the first quarter, will Swan View be slow out of the blokes from last weeks game or will it be close at 1/4 time? Im going for Ellenbrook just but this game will be decided by less than a point.

Dianella Morley v Swan Valley - Interesting fixture this one, Win hear and DM will go long way to sealing a spot in the 5, loose and they keep things interesting. Do they have players to come back or is their depth being tested? Swan Valley had a good win last week and will go into this game with no fear, One more win and the Valley will just about be safe from relegation, will it happen this week? I think so in an upset Swan Valley

Manning v Ballajura - I Think Manning could be in for a tough game again this week, however they will be keen for an upset. Ballajura to win and hold onto third spot at this stage

SNESA v Piara Waters - While I won't go as far as Maddog and claim SNEZA are the most disappointing side in this grade, I'm sure they will be fired up to win, as they need to win at least five of their last 7 games - possible 6 as their percentage is lower than the sides above them. As mentioned Piara had a solid game last week v Cockburn and will be keen to continue on their winning ways. We will be ready for an ambush this week, but we expect to win in a close one. Piara Waters

Secret Harbour v Cockburn - A big game for both clubs, Secret Harbour need to try to line up with some forwards to try to kick a score. Cockburn were strong last week and will be keen to bounce back to the winners list. Cockburn to win

Good luck to all, enjoy the game and enjoy the beers afterwards

Ellenbrook by 13pts in the battle of the hillbillys. Both hot teams at the minute but i think the eels run will be too much.

Dianella morley by 21pts. DM in some horrible form but hear have a couple back. Done some last minute recruiting of some good players. Are they playing? Valley in some sort of form will make it a good game

Piara waters by 88pts. Even without one of their gun key forwards will prove too much for an out of form ripper outfit.

Cockburn to get the chocolates by 63 pts. Dissapointing season for both squads and im 100% sure they will both drop a grade and hopefully rebuild in 2016.

Ballajura by 91 pts. I agree with a few other posters that snesa are the dissapointment of 2015. They have some gun mids they are 6ft3 or 6ft4 that run all day and supply some good ball use. Ballas run and supply to their fwds will be too good for SNESA this arvo.

have to mention today's DM v Swan valley game and not for good reasons.

2 major talking points out of the game and will try and remain as objective as i can.

DM take the points but the show from 'their' umpire or the local one was far from dignified. all we ask as players and spectators is that umpires are consistent, if thats consistently bad thats fine but as long as it is both ways. if he pays the cheap ones then that is setting a precedent from the entire game, although did notice it happened at crucial times during the game and especially in last quarter. had flash backs from the infamous mosman park umpire. if anyone else has any thoughts or has seen first hand this bloke then please tell me if I'm right or if he has had an off day today etc I'm curious for others inputs.

the second talking point is a cheap punch off the play after a bit of normal game day chirp which has resulted in a valley players tooth going through his chin skin which left a fair amount of blood pouring out. not sure whats happening with that but I'm not going to say anymore about it as I'm sure the WAAFL will hear both sides and decide the outcome.

Sore loser much get the sand out of your you no what, I remember your umpires disgraceful cheating in the ressies game, who also umpired the league game and there were many questionable decisions by him in that game as well.

Spoken like a true DM local Peter North. The DM umpire has been useless in previous seasons but thought it was all fixed? He must be back...
