Quinns ( Premiers, B grade Bound in 2016 ), Simply way too good
Bullcreek are the only possible challenger
Melville no depth will slide by years end
Carlisle going ok but expect to fall away,
Kingsley & Ocean Ridge to storm home and be big players in finals
Willetton to miss Finals but cause headaches for sides vying for a top 5 spot
Bassendean & Lynwood to fight out relegation battle
Gosnells ( C2 Bound in 2016 )

That is why I am The Authority!!!!

Can't argue with the Quinn's premiers by far the best side in C1.
As for the challengers for the other grand final spot all depends on who turns up consistently over the next 8 weeks to get themselves the double chance.
Kingsley are either chocolates or boiled lollies.
Melville away from home may struggle on the bigger grounds the longer the season goes.
Carlisle may surprise and sneak that last spot in September. They were the best of the rest that I had seen.
Wasn't as impressed with Bullcreek like you seem to be The Authority and yes I looks a race in 2 to avoid C2 in 2016 as Gosnells are gone.

Interesting second half of the season to come.

The comp is pretty even at the moment. Only 1.5 wins separating 2nd from 6th so its anyone's really. For what's its worth, my predictions below:

Quinns definitely remain the front runners, and would be short priced favourites for the flag. However I can't see them going the season undefeated. Away matches to Kingsley and Ocean Ridge pose a risk and I wouldn't be surprised to see them drop 1. Will finish top with daylight in between 2nd, and will be there on the final day.

Melville aren't setting the world on fire but are just doing enough to stay at the top half of the ladder. Their draw over the next few weeks is favourable before coming home against some of the higher positioned teams in the last few weeks which will be a test. Will win at least 6 games on the way home, and by then should have done enough to seal a top 3 spot.

Kinsgley seem a pretty fit side and can probably beat anyone on their day. Would expect them to win the easy ones and maybe pinch a game or 2 off higher placed sides to fill out the top 3.

Bull Creek are a quality outfit, but with a couple of key injuries, the score line against Gosnells wasn't convincing and a tough month coming up (Melville, OR, Quinns and Willetton) we will know where they are at come round 14. Could finish anywhere from 3 to 6.

Ocean Ridge will round out my top 5. They will win 4 of their next 6, with their last 2 weeks against Willetton and Lynwood sealing the deal.

Carlisle will be unlucky and just miss out. They will win 3 of their next 4, but will struggle at the pointy end of the season against quality competition. Tough last month with Melville, BullCreek and Kingsley all on the agenda. Nice percentage boost vs Gossy's in Rd 17 but !

Willetton and Lynwood will be mid-pack, and live to fight another day in C1.

In the relegation stakes, Gosnells have the bottom spot all but stitched up. I can't see them going the year undefeated but. Looks like they showed signs against Bull Creek so could crack the duck this weekend vs Basso at home. Jim Beam cans all round !! Basso are the other team for me, their next 2 games are the only winnable ones for them against Lynwood and Gosnells and I can't see them winning either. They won't post another 4 points for the rest of the year.

Premiers - Quinns
Runner-Up - ?? Melville or Kingsley

Some good observations here:
Quinns def look the goods atm but we have all seen that sometimes the best team of the yr doesnt always make the GF
Melville seems solid and will be in the top 5
Bullcreek will finish top 3. Some players to come back in and provided we can pinch a game off Melville or Kingsley away (or both) then this should ensure we finish near the top. Considering the exodus of players from last yr, this has been a good effort this yr but hopefully better to come.
Kingsley seem to be a run and gun team that when on are hot and when off are not. They will be a week by week prposition i think but will make top 5. Could be a bogey team if they get it all together
Ocean Ridge, Carlisle and Willetton to fight it out for 5th spot. Most likely Carlisle and Ocean Ridge will battle for that spot.

Should be a good finish to the yr.
Predicted ladder:
Quinns
Bullcreek
Melville
Kingsley
Carlisle
Ocean Ridge
Willetton
Basso
Lynwood
Gosnells

On the review.
But The Golden Fleece doesn't mind an argument
Too much Quinns&Bullcreek love for my liking
The Rams&The Cats for my pick for the GF
And just incase you mob wondering if I play
I don't I am just a heckler from the balcony that
Loves the Sip.
All I will say the Rams on the Stampede at
The right time of year.

There has been some interesting predictions and banter about the pointy end of the season and i thought i would get involved.

Relegation: I'll put my house on gosnells playing C2 next year. Lynwood were a spirited bunch last time they played at the rams therefore i believe basso will be heading down to C2.

Finals: The top 5 will be as follows....Quinns, Melville, Kingsley, Bullcreek, Carlisle

Ocean Ridge unlucky to miss out and Willo well they are no good.

Premiers: I think Quinns will progress straight to the final with melville and kingsley to battle off for a spot in the final. Melville will stampede home and win that battle with a plethora of support on the balcony of stock road to get them home.

The season doesn't mean shit when you come to the gf, best team on the day will win, and who that is we will find out soon...

Quinns a step above the others this year.
Kingsley to meet them in the GF
Carlisle, Ocean Ridge and Melville to play finals
Lynwood with a few good performances of late to avoid relegation and be middle of the run with Willo and Bullcreek
Gosnells and Basso to go down

Interesting to have a read back, most punters are on the money.

C1 is still anybody's on the day but you would fancy Quinns or th Rams to take it out at this stage.
