Well we are now on the rebound with the fixtures and the next few weeks could offer a few different results to the first time around. MrM is excited to see what the rest of the season holds as I'm sure everybody else is.
Can we see a late season surge from a side and push towards finals?
Will we a side drop off from their early season form?
Will all canteens serve some hot chips? Or will MrM need to write a rant to get things going again?
These questions remain to be answered.
Thankfully B Grade this season has been relatively incident free with only one major incident (non violent mind you). Play football in the right spirit everybody and always go back to the home sides club-rooms for a beverage, we are all the same here, just wanting to play football with mates whilst we can, win or lose more to life than football. So for everybody MrM says keep it up fellow WAAFL B Grade lovers and other football followers, go out and enjoy the game.
MrM had a busy Wednesday travelling down to Innaloo collecting the free apples on offer from Mr Tony Galati at Spudshed for Bowel Cancer week and Red Apple Day. They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away so thanks for Tony for hopefully keeping the doctors away for at least 30 days thanks to the wonderful Pink Lady's I picked up. It's a welcome change from potatoes, but I still went home with a nice bag of those as well.
So let's get into this weekends games like MrM did with apple crumble and homemade hot chips, full on and leave nothing behind.
Hamersley Carine v Maddington @Carine Open Space
Last time they met
Maddington 9.8 (62) defeated by Hamersley Carine 13.10 (88)
Well it's the time for another battle of the maroon and gold. Both of these sides have had quite contrasting seasons. Hamersley have surprised all and emerged as a real contender. Only losing the two games they may have even surpassed their own expectations as they look to continue that form this week. Maddington haven't had the greatest season to date but always time to turn that around, playing finals is probably out of the equation, but they are still every chance to avoid relegation. If they can muster a surprise victory here then, anything is possible. Hamersley should be to good here though.

Swan Athletic v Kingsway @Fawell Park
Last time they met
Kingsway 5.10 (40) defeated by Swan Athletic 11.9 (75)
Well Swan Ath may have slipped down from the top of the ladder due to percentage but they have shown they are capable of going the distance this season. This weekend presents a good chance to re-capture some of that percentage they have lost. Kingsway will be looking to consolidate themselves in B Grade this season ready for next season. They still need to do the right things to try and avoid relegation which presents a challenge in its self. If they string a few wins together they could push for Fifth on the ladder. Swan Ath to put the foot down here.

Whitford v Collegians @MacDonald Reserve MOTR
Last time they met
Collegians 10.10 (70) defeated Whitford 10.6 (66)
Siren Gate was the talking point after these two sides played last time. Rumours are the Whitford are hoping to play first goal wins this weekend so they can attend their big function Saturday Night. With a lot riding on this game I've awarded this Match Of Tue Round.
Whitford can move to Fifth spot on the ladder if things go according to plan on Saturday but a loss would mean they would lose touch with the top 5 and face a battle to play finals. They play a Collegians side who should be fired up after losing last weekend and having to leave "The Golden Triangle" again for two away games in a row, a win would see them open up a 2 game buffer on Whitford as they look to play finals. It should be a good game at Whitford, plenty to play for, both sides need a win. Collegians to get it done though.

Scarborough v Stirling @Millington Reserve
Last time they met
Stirling 10.10 (70) defeated Scarborough 10.8 (68)
Scarborough will be looking to atone there Round 1 loss here. If they hadn't slipped up this game they could very well be 8-1 and sitting atop the B Grade ladder. They are playing good team football and they building for something special down at The Mill. Stirling really haven't done a lot since beating Scarborough last time. Every week it is raised but clearly depth is an issue and we are starting to see that in effect. Scarborough to show why they are the side to best this season.

Wembley v Wanneroo @Pat Goodridge Reserve
Last time they met
Wanneroo 15.11 (101) defeated Wembley 10.8 (68)
The battle of the Big White V is on again. Wembley should be kicking themselves they currently aren't in the top 5. They had a late season surge last year, but this season they will may need more than that given they are already 3 games behind the top 4, they should make a push for finals but a better second half of the season is needed. Wanneroo jumped up to top spot last week thanks to percentage but won't be getting ahead of themselves as they face a classy Wembley side this weekend. A win for Wanneroo is needed with a a tough month of football ahead. Wanneroo to get the win in a hard contest.

Good luck to all this weekend. Remember my earlier words, go out and have fun.
