Well I hope everybody enjoyed their weekend off like MrM did. Although the WAAFL had a bye, there was plenty of football to enjoy. The hot chips were being pumped out by the truckload at the games MrM attended. I'm sure that these football clubs took full advantage of the cheap potatoes Tony Galati has on offer, the generous man is now even taking his delightful stores to the South West of our great state.
It's no surprise, the hot chips were wonderful, so it must have been the reason a few thousand attend the game. So for all clubs who don't sell hot chips. Do want large crowds and a way to keep the patrons happy? Start cooking those delicious deep fried potatoes and watch the people on mass stroll in.
An interesting weekend of football ahead. If results go the right way we could again see the gap widen between the top 5 and bottom 5 and it could be a long road back to try and make finals if you're in that bottom 5. But as they say, anything can happen, so we wait and see.
Collegians v Wembley @Allen Park
The winner of this game will grab fifth spot on the ladder. Collegians have had indifferent form so far this season and will need to improve if they are going to play finals football. A loss for them here would see them slip 2 games behind fifth. Wembley another side struggling to find consistency in 2015, they need the win here to maintain touch with the top of the ladder and to give themselves breathing room in the top 5. It should be a close game, but I think Wembley might be too good here, just.

Maddington v Wanneroo @Harmony Fields
Ladies Day down in Maddington this weekend has MrM salivating to see what is in store. I heard MrM's favourite Masterchef Contestant will be on hand to cook food for the ladies. Disappointed he hasn't been invited back for Past Contestant week on Masterchef this week, he would have added a nice touch.
Maddington have struggled in this first part of 2015, but still have the chance to turn things around. I expect given a big day at the club, they will come out fired up and looking to win. Wanneroo have started to play some good team football with still room for improvement as they look to consolidate themselves inside the top 3. Last time Wanneroo was at Harmony fields they copped a 100+ point hiding, so you could say anything less than a 17 goal hiding would be an improvement. Wanneroo should get the win here though.

Kingsway v Whitford @Kingsway Reserve
Saying both sides need a win here is an understatement. Kingsway have found the going tough so far in there inaugural B Grade season. They are only two games off second spot but they have a low percentage which they will need to improve as well to could be important in the relegation battle if it comes down to that. Whitford another side who have found the going tough in B Grade this season, they desperately need this win to maintain touch with that top 5. No side can afford to lose. Kingsway could cause an upset here and sneak home in a tight game, well that's what MrM is tipping here.
Kingsway by 1 goal.
Scarborough v Swan Athletic @ Millington Reserve MOTR
No surprises as this is clearly Match Of The Round. 1 v 2 and a loss for either side could see them tumble down the ladder a few spots.
Scarborough have played good football so far this season and have the experience needed to go one further this season and reach a Grand Final, still plenty of hard work to do though as they face a slick Swan Ath outfit. Swan Ath still sit atop the B Grade ladder and have shown they are tough to beat only losing the one game. Dependant on results a loss and they could slip to Fourth, but more likely Second or Third. A win would seem them strengthen their lead on top. It will be a good game and tipped Ng is a tough one. At home though Scarborough should win. Last time it was 1 v 2, 2 had a win so a good omen for Scarborough.

Stirling v Hamersley Carine @Richard Guefli Reserve
Stirling are struggling in all grades with results and the lack of depth they have isn't helping either. It's make or break now for Stirling, if they are going to gain anything from this season they need to start this weekend or they face a battle to survive in B Grade. Hamersley are another side 5-2 and a week after knocking off Swan Ath, they lost to Scarborough. They should have enough to beat Stirling here and try to gain back some of that percentage they lost last match.

I look forward to seeing the results come 5pm Saturday. That is if MrM isn't occupied finding himself a new potential Mrs Mysterious. Should be a good weekend for all.
