As reported on the WAAFL website.
The coaching panel behind the 2015 WAAFL ‘West Coast Eagles’ State 19s team is delighted to announce the 30 man squad that will represent the WAAFL this year. The program received incredible club support this season with over 30 clubs having players represented and over 90 players from these clubs putting strong cases forward to be selected. A thank you goes to all clubs on behalf of this year’s coaching panel for this unprecedented level of support. The quality on display over the past two Wednesday’s trial sessions has been of the highest calibre and has really showcased how good the talent level is at WAAFL level.
While only 30 players were able to be selected, the coaching panel would like to recognise the hard work and dedication of all players that attended the trial sessions. We speak whole heartedly when we say that there are a number of very unlucky players to miss selection and this was the toughest year to finalise the squad. Any player or coach looking for individual feedback is welcomed to call Cameron Palmer on 0432 896 211.
For the third season in a row all six WAAFL Colts grades have been represented in the program with 21 clubs having at least one representative. Congratulations to all those clubs that have representatives in 2015 and will get the opportunity to showcase your club.
