Interesting write-ups Maddog, well said again for this round, My thoughts are below for those who are interested.

Cockburn lakes v Swan View - Should be a good game by two sides who have the ability to play decent football when they are on. The big oval at Cockburn will open the game up and I think this will help Swan View who have some decent sized players. As has been said Cockburn will be keen for a win to try to move further away from relegation, but I don't think that will happen and I agree with most that Swan View will be to good here

Piara Waters v Ellenbrook - MOTR. Should be a cracker between two fast moving sides on a nice fats deck. Mad Dog interesting what you said about Piara Waters in your comments. We are still improving and our best footy is ahead of us and we have no doubts we will continue to improve. Ellenbrook has taken all before them so far this year. Ellenbrook are in flying form and have won their last 5 after slipping up in a close on in round 1. I expect this game to go right to the wire however I expect Piara waters to just win at home. - Whitey catch you for a drink afterwards hey?

Snesa v Manning - should be another close game - SNESA has got themselves into 5th spot and will continue to win games during the year, they are well coached and their best 22 is pretty good. Manning are up and down each week. They may struggle to keep up with Snesa here skills and speed wise but I expect them to block this game up a bit and keep it close. Still going SNESA at home

Secret Harbour v Dianella Morley - DM easily hopefully for the sake of the rest of the comp Secret Harbour can get 2 sides out on the park for the rest of the year and make a crack at it. Im sure the bus trip home would be fun after this one

Swan Valley v Ballajura - Valley at home are always an interesting outfit, Ballajura kicked the biggest score of the season last week in our grade and if given space and time will look to kick another big one this week. I think the pride at Valley will help them a bit here, but I think Ballajura have the skills to win this one.

Caught the dm vs secret game on my way up from augusta. Not much to say here dm off to a strong start kicking 8 i think in the first qtr before the rain came and slowed things down a litle bit. Very different looking dm team than usual. Two out of the three gun forwards were missing with the one playing kicking 8 or 9. seems to me that DM break open their games in the first qtr and then its catch up from there for the opposition. Good on SH for getting two teams together as noone likes a forfeit

After seeing the Swan View/Cockburn game Cockburn are definitely not safe from relegation! All will depend on how much The Valley want to stay up. On that performance I can only see Cockburn beating Secrets and then it'll be decided on the return fixture between Cockburn and Valley!
Swan View had several quality players missing and head into the bye with a huge game to follow against Snesa with the winner to be in 5th spot.
