Round 5 results went mostly to script other than Eelenbrooks upset over Balljura. If it wasn't for twelve 50m penalties the margin would've been even bigger!

Swan View vs Piara Waters - The View held out a gallant Valley last week to stay in touch with the 5 while Piara had a comfortable win over Manning to sit atop the ladder. A good challenge here for The View who are yet to beat anyone above them. To be a winning chance they'll need to play a solid 4qtr game and kick straight,something that hasn't happend in the past 2 weeks. I've mentioned Piaras depth lately but I'm not so sure it's lacking anymore and could in fact be building. The View will again lose a couple and gain a couple,at home are hard to beat but I think Piara brings the better form line and should get it done in a tight one. 2 goals

Eelenbrook vs Swan Valley - The battle for the Burley or some shit like that they call this game from memory,sounds epic! The Eels(lol) to put another nail in The Valleys coffin!! At the same time they'll be building expectation setting up for yet another choke.

Dianella vs Snesa - GOTR! Should be a cracker!! If you've been following the form lines both teams have had a similar draws with similar results. We know Dianella are contenders and I'm of the opinion that so too are Snesa. I don't think many others are rating them. They may not win here but I think they'll be around the place come crunch time. Dianella,only because they are at home,by a goal.

Manning vs Cockburn - Niether team are contenders and a loss to ether team will spell the end to finals hopes. Manning were competitive against Piara while Cockburn got a decent touch up at home from a team missing a couple,not good signs! A real 50-50 game but if Manning can organise a few bags or valuables to go missing during the early game they may just get a mental edge. Manning 2 goals.

Ballajura vs Secret Harbour - This will get ugly!! Balla will be stinging after last weeks performance and unfortunately for them it will be Secrets copping it hard. Get a bus up lads so at least there is something to look foward to!! Balla by 20 goals.

I'm new to ozfooty (signed up years ago but I've never really been back on) and I enjoy the write ups across all the grades from week to week.
Your C3 write ups however MD , inevitably contain a few snide remarks about the ellenbrook club - I would be interested to know why this is the case? disgruntled ex player/member? bad experience against them on the field? Offended by the mascots name?
All the other games write ups are generally on point so good work on them.

Suck it up bud,bit of banter never hurt nobody! Id never play for them cos I couldn't stand wearing a Dockers jumper! The mascots name is quite funny I think,I mean who wouldn't want to be a dirty,slimy,ugly eel? And I've never had an experience in Eelenbrook that has been enjoyable,it's a hole!

Nothing wrong with a bit of footy banter. I love your game write ups almost as much as our "Big Dirty Eel" Mad Dog. In fairness mate, I probably exaggerated a little on the 12 - 50m frees but it did seem like a few that's for sure. Either way like I said last weeks game against Ballajura was a cracking game to watch & further highlights how close C3 is this season.
