Some dominant performances by the single team clubs this week.

Man, playing lots of single team clubs is pretty lame.

as a player in this grade we'd love to have all the single teams in the one comp, and it's no fun if games are one sided.
I think though if your single team happens to be terrible and you get spanked every week because you are forced to play other single sides, you have more chance of folding than growing into 2 teams. there's also a chance the 3rds/4ths or 5ths (whatever the case may be) may get fed up and fold also.
it'll take a couple years of relegations/promotions to get the single grades correct I think, just hope it sorts itself quickly and everyone enjoys their footy.

I agree, and I don't know the exact way to resolve the issue. I play in our teams 5ths (that should give away what team), and whilst we haven't been "uncompetitive" it is noticeable that we are coming up against some single team clubs. Those teams tend to have a few players that could comfortably play in our teams 2s or even 1s. Just makes the competition a bit less level unfortunately, I realise that there are no other 5ths teams in the League really (save for Wesley Curtin), but playing the 3rds of a club seems a bit more fair than playing the 1s.
