Horrible day at the office for safety bay, only 18 players and needed 4 of our ressies players to double up, for the 3rd week in a row, as well as 2 major injuries in the first quarter, but take nothing away from belmont they are a quality team. First quarter was tight and even but Belmont took their chances and lead by 2 goals at the break. After that it was all Belmont, midfield ran us of our feet which lead to quality ball going in to the forward line which kept the backline under the pump the whole game. No real stand out players for belmont, they just work super well as a team and create heaps of space for each other. Well done to the club for organizing the last post and a minute silents before the game, very professional and was a quality touch to the day. Hopefully next time we play we can offer a better game for 4 quarters.

An interesting day against the boys from Rossmoyne, the scoreboard didn't reflect just how close the game was. Our boys were just lucky to have got off to a good start and to have had a strong finish as inacurracy in front of goals in between could have really hurt us. Credit to the Rhinos though, they play a tough style of footy in close but also run and use the pill very well. I think they'll surprise a few this year and are a noticably better outfit to what we saw last year.

Was very good to have a handful of Rossmoyne guys hang around for a few stubs afterwards too, there's certainly not enough of it these days.

Very interested to hear about the Kwinana v Nollamara game, looks like it was a belter!
