Who is out that way? Maddo, gosnells, canningvale, piara waters, southern river. The same has happened in all grades. They allow the opening of cottesloe footy club so that takes players away from mossie, west coast etc. all it is doing is making the weaker sides weaker and the A grade comp will be heads and shoulders above the rest. Hence the reasons clubs need to pay players to win flags

Good point, plus Armadale, roleystone, forrestdale, jandakot, Cockburn lakes, thornlie and lynwood ferndale all within 15 minutes of kelmscott to name a few more

That's all good to hear for Kelmscott but let's not forget when the Sunday league shut up shop,the ammo club from these areas put up a similar argument but the Sunday league club said they wouldn't affect numbers to other clubs. It's tough for everyone in this tight nite area but hey we all fight on to put out the sides we nominate.

Some club are financially stronger and some clubs spend beyond there means, something has to give and for the comps sake let's hope it's not an A grade club that falls over after potentially winning an A grade flag.

After all that it's good to see the under dog proving people wrong again and again.
