I trust everybody read the good news during the week?! Premier Colin Barnett has said that the "days are up" for potato industry regulation in WA. Which is great news for MrM's good friend Tony Galati, meaning his abundance of potatoes may continue and they could be priced lower than ever. So grab those deep fryers, or even an oven, because you can afford one now in saving on your potatoes and BRING BACK THE HOT CHIPS. MrM is on a crusade to find Western Australia's best Hot Chip.
Think you've got the goods? Let MrM know and he will investigate and a leaderboard will be set up.

Another good forecast for the weekend. ANZAC DAY Football. Many people talk with fervour about Anzac Day. It's good chance to commemorate and reflect what our soldiers went through 100 years ago.

Looking forward to a reflective day, enjoy some mateship after the game, with your teammates, opposition, supporters and even umpires.
Enough dribble, football is why we are here so it's football I shall talk about.

On a side note MrM tipped 5/5 last week in the B Grade WAAFL action and 9/9 in the AFL.

Collegians v Swan Athletic @Allen Park.

Collegians dealt their first loss last weekend and will be out to get back to winning at their temporary home. Not to sure if they may lose some going down South, but we wait and see. Swan Ath have started 2015 just as they would have hoped. 2 wins and sitting atop the B Grade ladder. Promotion battles aren't won in April though, but winning early games does help. Swan Ath should get it done here.
Swan Athletic by 4 goals

Maddington v Scarborough @Harmony Fields

Well Maddington should be disappointed after losing the first two games of the season, they aren't alone in sitting 0-2 but should be desperate to win, especially at home. Scarborough, got a win and restored confidence with a solid 9 goal victory. They will need to string plenty more of these performances together to ensure they finish up the top of the ladder and try to avoid a Preliminary Final. Scarborough to be too good here.
Scarborough by 4 goals

Kingsway v Stirling @Kingsway Reserve MOTR

Both sides do battle this weekend for the Kingsley Hunter Cup. I know he played for more teams than anyone, but these are his two latest sides. It's also a Grand Final replay so it's MrM's Match Of The Round.

Kingsway have faced some tough competition so far in their Inaugural B Grade season, and another side sitting 0-2. A second half fade out last week cost them a victory over Scarborough. They will need to turn it around this weekend or 0-3 beckons. Stirling copped an absolute hiding last weekend. Soprano pointed out they might not have had as many changes as we all thought. So can they turn around the embarrassment of last weekend and win the Grand Final replay? I think it will be a close one. MrM is a non betting man, but I bet their will be some spice in this game.
Stirling by 3 points.

Wanneroo v Hamersley Carine @Wanneroo Showgrounds

Well the boys from Wanneroo have managed to string together two hard for wins so far this season. No doubt they will be looking at impressing all those who attend Past Players day this Saturday with another victory. Hamersley shouldn't be counted out though as they are undefeated and from all reports are playing some very good football at the moment. There is little doubt that this will be a tough contested battle. Wanneroo at home should get the job done here.
Wanneroo by 2 goals.

Whitford v Wembley @Macdonald Reserve

Whitford have got off to a slow start so far in 2015 and as I've said before you don't want to be finding yourself 0-3. They may need to find different avenues to goal to win, A.Hunter is a good avenue, but they need more. Wembley are coming off an colossal win last weekend, they can't expect to win like that every week, but I did warn people of what would happen if they strung together 100 minutes of good football. Wembley should add another victory to their total here and it will be "back to Wembley they go".
Wembley by 5 goals

That's it. Good luck to all teams on the weekend. I'd start a tipping ladder expect barely anyone tips, they'd rather come on here only to complain about umpires and time keepers.

I will be going with:
Swan Ath - to strong all over
Scarborough - as above
Kingsway - upset here and their first B Grade Win
Wanneroo - In a close one in front of a big crowd
Wembley - To strong, by a few goals.

Look forward to watching some good quality football again this week.

MrM struggled with his tips this weekend, with Kingsway, Hamersley Carine, and Whitford all registering wins. Scarborough also won. Anyone know the result between Swan Ath and Collegians?

Stirling vs Kingsway was a great game, Stirling led all day and kicked themselves out of the game only kicking 1 goal 5 in the last quarter which let kingsway back in who kicked a goal with about 30 seconds to go. The day wasn't without drama though with kingsway apprentley blowing the siren 8 seconds late for 3 quater time in which they kicked a goal.
Was a shame that the Kingsway crowd on the balcony spoiled the day with an unsportsman like send of to the Stirling team and a few certain members still telling profanitys off the balcony at the team after the game was over. Was one of the worst displays I have seen

Now now you're not allowed to have a crack at timekeepers on the site.

Sledge. Pot calling the kettle black a bit there isn't it mate? Do you not remember after kingsway won the flag some of your supporters ran into the circle as the boys were singing the song. I'm not condoning the action from the balcony at all but short memory huh
