Looks like University for a 3peat in the Phil Scott Colts at this early stage. Got hold of their Grand Final Opponent from 2014 in Nth Beach in Rnd 1, looking at earlier result. So went and witnessed the smashing of CBC in Rnd 2, who have always had a strong colts program. Uni Good depth with Brett Jones Colts having a 30 goal win in Rnd 2. Surely the Benchmark in both comps in 2015. Any others with any match day reports from games played or tips/ predictions for rest of season in either competition.

The Colts competition is all over the place this year. Last year CBC went 14&4 with a very strong "A" Colts side in the Phil Scott competition.

This year the CBC results are as follows:
Phil Scott "A Colts" 0 & 2 with a percentage of 29.9

The CBC 2nd Colts side results this year are as follows:
Brett Jones 2 & 0 with a percentage of 622.9

In the words of Pauline Hanson "Please Explain"

Just trying to get the mix right for 2015. Come finals we will be up and running! Mt Lawley were pretty strong against us in round 1 and Uni also very dominant at McGilvray. Mt lawley had their colts coach from a few years ago back at the helm- for memory he took them to 2 grand finals a few years back.
So they might jump into the mix Yobbo. Pity that, as they will be playing in the Drew Banfield comp next year. A waste for the talent they seem to have in their colts if this eventuates...

After Rnd 4 University doing it well in both comps leading the way remaining undefeated. TAs took them too within 9pts last round in the Phil Scott Colts, so expect them too improve on the early 1-3 record. CBC have put together 2 good wins in the last 2 rnds after tasting defeat in the first 2 weeks of the season. Last years runners up Nth Beach have won 3 matches on the trot since Uni defeated them in Rnd 1. Wesley Curtin also on a good run after defeating Mt Lawley. They take plenty of confidence in taking on the undefeated Uni in Rnd 5. Mt Lawley seemed too have improved just looking at their scores this season compared too last
, will get too see them 1st hand in Rnd 6. Nth Freo and Kalamunda with 2 wins at this stage both will be looking too get another (W)as they go head to head in Rnd 5 too try grab a spot in the top 5. West Coast and Kelmscott so far yet too register a win in 2015 in the Phil Scott Colts.
Brett Jones Colts sees Uni aswell as Wesley Curtin setting the pace with 4-0 records. CBC, Mt Lawley and Nth Freo all 2-2 will no doubt have important matches when head to head in the future Rnds. TAs and Nth Beach are both 1-3 but always have depth in grades so they will chalk some more wins up. See Wanneroo only had 14 last weekend vs TAs and are yet too win, infact copping some heavy defeats so far in 2015.

Kalamunda massive win over TAs in Rnd 6, keeping them too 1 goal for the match. University showed MtLawley whos boss in the Phil Scott Colts after narrow escapes vs Wesley and TAs in the last 2 weeks. The Early season improvement on the 2014 results for MtLawley may be a myth and Im tipping them too slide in the next month from what i saw Saturday as it was the 1st game seen of them. They need to improve majorly if even wanting to play finals. Nth Beach definetley recovered from the Rnd 1 Slip Up and have strung together 5 on the trot. Wesley Curtin Round out the top 5 in Phil Scott Colts Comp. CBC Nth Freo and TAs in 6th 7th 8th positions can all make the top 5 and all very dangerous teams in the Phil Scott Colts Comps.
Brett Jones Colts sees no change to the top 2 positions with Uni and Wesley doing it comfortably without tasting defeat in 2015. Nth Beach have won a few in a row and have jumped into 3rd by % over MtLawley who both have 3-3 records. Nth Freo CBC TAs still in the mix but up and down results similar to the 3rd and 4th positions. Wanneroo struggling at the minute but have a night game vs MtLawley this Saturday that they may all get around and get up for.

Some Big games Coming Up!

Don't like going against my side Yobbo, but Uni look the goods in those two comps.. We will make a charge and get finals spots in both grades, but considering Uni 14-0 in those comps, look like the ones! They are slick and well drilled, much better than any other side we played this year by a country mile. No need to worry about Kala or mount lawley as with their struggles in the A league I'm sure a lot of their colts will be getting some games in seniors through the course of the year, hence less stability/structure than uni. North Beach and Wesley will be the others in the mix, the beach like us have a great policy in which 20 year olds play seniors - that way great exposure to senior footy and gives them a year advanced ahead of any other colts in other sides. Both better for our clubs in the long run and their own personal development.
