Round 1 went pretty much to script with some pretty lopsided score lines in some games. Biggest surprise of all was the margin in the Ossie Park V Cobras game, I expected it to be closer.

Jandakot V Cobras
An 8 goal loss is never a nice way to open the season although in Jandakots case it shows a marked improvement on last year. Cobras seemed to be on the end of a pretty heavy defeat and will be looking to make amends. This game will show us how much improvement has been made by Jandakot over the summer and also whether the Cobras pose a threat this year.
Tough call but I'll go Cobras by 2 goals

Bayswater V Belmont
Baysie come in to c4 with a pretty unenviable draw having to face the 2 flag favourites in rounds 1 and 2. A pretty heavy defeat by Armadale in round 1 and having to back it up against Belmont in round 2 is hardly an ideal start.
Round 1 went as expected for Belmont- cruising to a comfortable 8 goal win against Jandakot.
Going to be a tough day at the office hear for Bayswater but things will improve.
Belmont by 14 goals

Osborne Park V Cottesloe
Easily match of the round with 2 genuine contenders doing battle. Ossie Park came off a resounding win last week and from all accounts things are looking good for the boys from
Robinson reserve. Cottesloe also coming off an impressive victory against an unpredictable Nollamara and look to have bolstered their squad over the off season.
Expect an absolute cracker of a game with the winner setting themselves up quite nicely for the rest of the season. Ultimately I think it'll be the physical presence of the Ossie park boys that'll get them over the line, but it won't be by much.
Ossie park by 1 goal

Rossmoyne V Kwinana
2014 was a nightmare for the newly promoted sides in Rossmoyne and Kwinana and both will be looking to make significant improvement in 2015. A resounding 108 point victory in round 1 for Kwinana may have just got that underway with their new forward absolutely on fire kicking 7 on debut.
Rossmoynes older bodies seemed to struggle with the pace of c4 last year and rely too much on big, slow marking forwards winning them games.
Kwinana will win this game but Rossmoyne won't make it easy for them like Safety Bay did as I expect they have a point to prove after last year.
Kwinana by 4 goals

Safety Bay V Armadale
Horrible start for the stingers in round 1 while Armadale got off to a dream start. If Safety bay can find some of their 2014 form they might be able to challenge Armadale but ultimately it still won't be enough.
For the sake of the competition I hope Safety Bay can mount some sort of a challenge and not rollover like last weekend.
Armadale by 15+ goals

Good luck to all this weekend

Cobras. 3 or 4 goals

Belmont.10+

Opark. A few points.

Rossi. 2 goals.

Armadale.10+

Reasons. Cobras will want to come back after last weeks loss. Belmont will go on with their good form and will be to good for baysie all over the ground. Osborne park last weeks win and home field advantage will give them the confidence to get over the line. Rossmoyne home field advantage and something to prove will get them the win. Armadale will be just to good for safety.

I'll keep this one short an sweet gents:

Jandakot- Only becuase its at home and I think they will be better for the run last week

Belmont- After playing Bayswater last week I think they will take a little while to find their feet, they are great bunch of blokes and had a real dip but I think Belmont will be too strong for them here.

Cottesloe- Definitely MOTR it could go either way but i'll go with the chooks in a close one.

Rossmoyne- I think travel may play a part in this one.

Armadale- Ill have to back my boys in here, good solid win last week and we got to see alot of the new guys play for the first time. Hoping for another cracking game of footy and hopefully we can get Safety Bay have put together 2 sides.

Good luck to all the teams on Saturday!!!

Cobras over Jandakot for mine in a close one.

Belmont to belt Baysie as much as the boys in blue battle bravely, their skill level will let them down in games.

Osborne Park have probably jumped both Armadale and Cottesloe in the pecking order and will rival Belmont for the flag, OP to win comfortably.

Rossmoyne to improve this year and beat Kwinana in a close one.

And finally the Demons to get the job done over Safety Bay and make it 2 in a row to start the year.

I should have some good inside info on C 4 this year as I work with two players who play at two of the top opposition clubs this year. There will be plenty of good banter at work on Mondays.

This weeks games will go close to shaping the season.

Osbourne Park V Cottesloe Match of the Round
Ossy Park have improved on our hard running style of football and added a few good key recruits and also some more depth to go with the reserves premiership team which will become invaluable in a long season. Cottesloe played a very polished style of running footy and will improve on that this year with a further season under their belt. Both clubs had good wins last week and played some memorable games last year and have formed a good rivalry. This game will be close all day and be played at a fast pace with Ossy Park getting up but it could go either way as The Roosters won't give in.

Jandakot V Cobras
Jandakot are more organized on the field this year and played a pretty good style of footy last week against Belmont and were pretty happy with the display and they will improve as the season goes on and will improve under their new coach.
I saw the Bra Boys play last week and they have also improved. They were a differant team from last year with a lot of new players though most of the new players were on the same level than the players they had replaced. They played a good running and play on style of football but costly turnovers cost them at times. They had more midfield pace and structure and could be a finals contender if their players can tell with the established crew.

Bayswater V Belmont
This game could get ugly for Bayswater. Belmont are up and about again this year and their hard running run and carry and spread brand of footy will tear Bayswater to shreads who against Armadale were unfit and played an old fashioned go back and kick it style of footy with none of the run ,carry and play on type of footy that we had heard they played last year. Belmont will win easily by 20 plus goals.Enough said.

Rossmoyne V Armadale.
Rossmoyne will need to improve on the slow moving long kicking type of footy they played last year and will need to ad some midfield pace . They have the height and strength but little of the pace needed to be a threat. Kwinana had a good win last year and were not far of the pace last year playing an attractive and exciting brand of football but lacked the consistancy and commitment needed to take on the finals. Kwinnys running game should be too much for Rossmoyne and they should get the victory and go 2-0 for the year.

Safety Bay V Armadale
Armadale will be paying 1.01 for this game. The Dees had little more than a training run last week winning by 18 goals and will have much the same this week. Armadale attack with play on and run and carry from all over the ground and will have a field day against Safety Bay. The Dees new recruits will keep improving as they get used to playing with their new teamates. Safety Bay have lost far too many players going by the clearances and unless they can get some players back they are in for a long
