It was a great day down at Piara Waters. We unveiled our new colours and had some new faces pull on the jumper too. From what I saw from the reserve game, Secret Harbour were more structured around the ball and our boys hurried our disposal too much, still a lot to work do in the two's but a valiant effort nonetheless, they never gave up.

The league side.... WOW. Their skills, their finesse, their constant pressure that they put on was outstanding. I really enjoyed watching the game and seeing how the new and the old worked well together. Here's hoping that they continue their good start and show the comp that they are a top contender. Looking forward to seeing how they shape up against Cockburn Lakes

Rnd1

Popped down to Coolamon oval to watch the Raiders and Ellenbrook League play, this game didn't disappoint me at all. What a game it was Ellenbrook off to a very slow start and the Raiders took full advantage of kicking with the wind kicking a 6 goal to 1 first quarter. The second quarter still belong to the Raiders but after half time Ellenbrook decided to pull there fingers out. Ellenbrook clawed there way back but fell 12 points short even with 8 more scoring shots, overall good start for the Raiders not so for Ellenbrook.

Well it was a good first hit out for round 1, some teams got off to a flying start others have a bit to work on. But its only early and still a whole season to go..
