That wouldn't be the Shaun Baxter who played for the Western Bulldogs years ago and was cut from their list after winning a brave battle against cancer by any chance, Rug?

Thats the one TK. He has been at the club for a couple of years helping out with fitness etc however is taking the reigns as the ones coach this year.

Well, I'm sure they will roll out the old footy doco, Year of the Dog, for a bit of motivation during the year. Hard to get a line on things right now, but sounding like Kelmscott are attacking things the right way with a new coach and some quality recruits. So many clubs come up from B Grade and think their premiership players and coach will be able to do the job for them in A Grade. It is a big gap between the top half a dozen in A Grade and the B Grade grand finalists and those promoted have to work hard to stay up.

He played E3 grade for them last year ... thank fuck we won't have to watch him bring his own ball to a game this year!

Scratch that - it's subsequently been approved. No doubt North Freo had to pay a clearance fee to get him across.
