Have heard a rumor that Lynwood may be in trouble heading into next year.
I will say we have heard all this stuff before around the traps about many clubs so if anyone can shed light on it now is your chance.

Why would they be in trouble Disco Night?????

PH all I have heard is that they may struggle to field teams and that other clubs are already trying to poach.

If this is the case it is very sad for footy out that way.

As I said before this may be trash talk so thought I would try and find out.

Didn't know that Disco knight....Yes the numbers may not be fantastic but this has been an issue we have dealt with for years at Lynwood.

My Intel is they have had their AGM, filled positions on the committee and have started interviewing people to coach next season. That's probably more advanced than most clubs at this time of year.

Interested to know, which clubs have you heard that may be trying to poach guys from there?

PH I am not going to name clubs poaching but I was told approx 3 clubs have made enquiries.

These cubs are all not that far away.

I will say that this is the norm anyway around the place as clubs obviousley try to bolster numbers, coaches change etc etc.

I would also imagine that those clubs would be in the same boat from other clubs anyway.

As I said in my earlier posts the point was to clear up the rumour which should help you guys moving forward.

Sweet, cleared up, and im sure Lynwood are talking to players at other clubs, which as you say is the norm this time of year.

Thought I'd chime in and say that Lynwood have a very healthy spring football side, including supporters, helpers and a coach. Not much to go by, but having good 15-20 odd guys on the park on a Sunday this far out can only be a good start
