Any actual reviews on the games or is it just going to be an good old fashion shit throwin' contest?

I'll be honest, I'm more interested to know what happened for the 100 minutes on the footy field than the hour after the siren went....

I'm pretty interested to hear about the game aswell RJ although the back and forth is funny as hell.

well to be honest DM rocked up ready to play, outscored us about 4 goals to 2 in the first, then in the second quarter we were still second to the ball and we were spectating a bit, then all of a sudden the resolve hit our eyes and you could see the boys had their back against the wall, our captain came off with a torn hammy and everyone just decided to start playing! we started getting out hands on the ball and started running in numbers. came in at half time 11 points down and belief was growing. From there it was all Brentwood, Dianella scored one point after half time and basically just stopped running, once we hit the front I think they saw the writing was on the wall, full credit though, they played out the game in an honest hard contest, no cheap stuff but in the end they just couldn’t run with us! any way the rest is history, we are now in C2 which was the goal set a couple years ago and we get a crack at Kenwick this week! we have nothing to lose, no one thought we would get this far and now we can try and create history, never before have Brentwood won back to back, but i dare say we will give a red hot crack this week! and if you are reading Dave Parker from manning, ill have the $1000 whenever you are ready, told we would get here!!

Bulldog, for years you have labelled and continue to label Dianella as a cheap shot/dirty side against all evidence of the contrary; only one yellow card between all sides at the club this season and no major incidents for a few years (the fighting at Balla last year was blown out of proportion and mostly escalated by fans unfortunately).

Brentwood played DM three times this season and twice in 2012. In all five games there was nothing which supports your views of the Dianella side. Stop living in the past and move on.

Pretty sure he said there was no cheap shots. Game was played in good spirits, everyone shook hands and a number of the DM players wished us luck in the GF which was appreciated. Would have loved to have had a beer with the DM players and discussed the season if we were allowed to!

Did you account for the yellow card on the weekend?

Saturdays game was played in good spirits and the umpires went unnoticed for most of the day. It was a tough first half with Brentwood wasting opportunities in front of goal early. Only one team seemed to come out to play in the second half but the DM players took the loss on the chin and the majority of them wished us good luck in the GF which was good to hear...

The guy clearly flogs the same agenda in any post relating to Dianella. I'm not going to troll through his history so if you can't acknowledge it Bulldog, I hope you find a new side to whip on next season in C2. Just consider that whatever happened in your past with our club, likely involved players long gone and you're hanging something over the heads of honest players who had nothing to do with it.
