Should be a cracking game down at Light Street, Raiders by 2 goals

It'd have been nice if umpires had been available for our game on the weekend. instead we had 2 association egos turn up. I'm not sure why they wanted to start sledging, but I'm not sure their advice helped me or themselves. Maybe they're just frustrated coaches with out a home.

Also, it's the first time this season I've seen the sliding rule called. Such clever little egos.

Sliding rule would have been called because most club umpires don't even know and if they do they wouldn't call. Do agree just because your a panel umpire or club umpire doing finals does not mean your shit doesn't stink. Umpires are there to control the game not take it over

Now onto the spectacle that is the C3 prelim, the boys trained well last night and can’t wait to have a crack at DM at their home ground, plenty of confidence in the boys!

couple of big prelim games today down at dianella open space.

The early game is going to be a cracker. After today these two teams will have played each other three times in a month and will be sick of each other! Ballajura have a couple of dangerous mids that will need to be stopped and for dianella they have some big forwards who are due to fire and today may be that day.
Dianella morley by 7 points and advance to the gf and get another crack at the powerhouse reserves eels side.

In the main game whoever wins is going to have to play out of their skins as both these teams are coming off 10+ goal hidings to the royals.

brentwood look like a pretty even spread side with no stand out players but all work well together hence why they are in a prelim final. On the other hand dianella have some explosive mids who on their day can tear teams a new one. Will that be today? Last time they met I think dm got up by a couple goals in some soggy conditions. I am tipping extra time and dm by 7 points again in o/t.

Big thanks to Dianella for some super hospitality today. After losing both the Reserves and League games badly they refused to serve any Brentwood player or supporter at the bar. Hope you muppets enjoy C3 next year!

Sorry Scooby but I believe you should get your facts straight before posting comments. Brentwood were not refused drinks at the bar. Due to the alcohol policy were are not allowed to sell cartons to teams but we were in the process of sorting out drinks for the Brentwood team when the manager decided to start making demands about the drinks and lost the privilege of our hospitality. We always provide drinks for the opposing team when they visit. Congrats on the win Brentwood and good luck next week in the big one!
