Round two of finals and the year is flying!!

We have Kenwick and Dianella fighting it out at mills park for a shot at the grand final and the all important promotion to C2! I think Kenwick has been the most consistent team all year and we all know they are a 4 – 5 goal better side at home so I think DM will have their work cut out for them this week. I will have Kenwick winning by 6 goals and going straight back up to C2. In saying that, I think it is not ideal preparation for a grand final having a bye, playing one game and then having a bye again, but it is not like they are going to throw the game to play next week, Kenwick to grab their chance!

Balla vs Brentwood at kingfisher. This should be a very good game, last time we came out to kingfisher we learnt an expensive lesson, cost us our top 3 finish and we didn’t adjust to the tiny oval and we haven’t forgotten! Looking forward to the challenge, we have had a couple great finals contests at kingfisher over the years and really looking forward to a strong finish to the year! Will be an interesting night at selections tonight with some unlucky blokes missing out... hopefully not me! I recon Brentwood can definitely get the job done, different team that played them last time and we are really gearing up at the right time of the year. In saying that I think it is going to be very close! I’ll take the dogs by 11 points!

Obviously a bit of a controversy in the ressies sees the balla ressies at home this week against kenwick which is a pretty big advantage if you ask me, and ellenbrook playing DM at mills park.

I recon both home teams will win.

it's true last time we played them we copped a hiding. but we attack every game and will be hoping to lock our spot in the big dance.

Ballajura v Brentwood Booragoon
Balla have knocked Brentwood off both times this year but as our reserves showed on the weekend that doesn't mean much come finals. I think brentwood will stick it right to balla but at kingfisher I'll take balla by a couple

our reserves are now playing Ballajura at Ballajura but we are still confident they can grind out a win. these two team have split the season so far. our boys winning by 2 points at mills park but getting pumped by over 15 goals at kingfisher.

Ellenbrook v Dianella Morley
ellenbrook have to come into this game as red hot favourites but dianella won't be intimidated they are one of only two sides to beat ellenbrook this year. I'd love to tip Dianella but I think Ellenbrook will be too good and win by 3 or 4

How will Mills Park hold up with this rain Clarkson14? Looks like it will drain okay but love to hear a home ground players perspective.

For what it's worth whitey, my experience of mills park in this sort of rain is expect puddles, there will be rain tomorrow morning also so the 12.30 fixture will definately have damp conditions on the ground, with serious wet patches
