The finals are upon us and 5 teams go into week one with big hopes. The big 3 Roleystone , Safety Bay and Bayswater look to be quite a bit ahead of the other two but in finals anything can happen. Both games this week will get played down at Shoalwater which will give Safety Bay a much needed financial boost

Elimination Final
Coolbellup V Melville

Both teams form coming into the finals has been scratchy with the Cats loosing their last two games and The Rams having an easy win over Nollamara. Both have won one each this season. The Cats big ruck man and his tough hard midfielders will be the keys for Coolby while Melville have a few hard nuts who will trouble the Cats. Coolby play a better style of footy than Melville and have more class and should just get over the line though the Rams will have the big support of their club behind the as they are the only Melville team in the finals. The Cats always come good finals time and love playing in the finals and should win well.

Qualifying Final
Safety Bay V Bayswater

This should be a brilliant game. Both teams play fast hard running well structured football. The Stingers have won both games this season by about 3/4 goals on each occasion and will be very confidant coming into this game at their home ground. Both teams are peaking at the right time with Safety Bay winning their last 5 and Bayswater winning 7 in a row coming into the finals. The Stingers have some very hard tough midfielders who feed the ball to their forwards well . Bayswater have a blistering band of midfielders whose run and carry and play on style of football will worry the Stingers but the Stingers have the firepower to match them. Bayswaters full forward has kicked well over 100 goals this year and he will worry Safety Bays backs though the Blues centre half forward is also very dangerous. Bayswaters main weakness is their slow back line and the Stingers will take full advantage of this with their speedy small forwards out running the Blues backmen. This will be a very close encounter and no doubt Roleystone will be looking on with interest having the benefit of the week off. The Stingers by less than a kick.

Coolby to get on a roll aft a a good win over Melville

Bayswater in a close one over Safety Bay. Baysies form just a little bit better than Safety's .

It looks like Saturday is the pick of the days weather wise for playing footy so I'm expecting good clean ball use. It really depends on how many Melville have qualified from there reserves team, but I'll say Coolbellup in a close one, and Safety Bay to start well from the middle and hold a comfortable enough lead all day to win by three goals. Not to take anything away from melville but them umpires were the worst! Need to have a good hard look at them selves

Really Ray Ray blame the umpires so the two yellows plus two reds and six fifties cooby gave away were not your teams most undisciplined play but biased umpires appointed by the panel. Always umpires when the better team loses cause they wouldn't know discipline if it smacked them in the face. And to your number 40 who was red carded to come on the ground after the siren and king hit a bloke it's a great club you have.

He didnt hit anyone in fact! We were getting 50s for asking why the free kicks were and even after the game the melville players were also saying how terrible the frees were, any ways good luck next week against bayswater cause you're gonna get flogged
