Well here it is, Finals have finally arrived!! It has been a pretty good year in C3 this year with most games being competitive apart from Manning, and later in the year East Freo. Good to see Manning had a decent win last week, would be just rewards for a difficult year, and they nearly avoided relegation! Dianella Morley went down to Balla at kingfisher and Balla would be gutted they didn’t score another goal as only finished 3rd by 0.5% which would have meant they had a chance to host the home final, but now have to head out to Light street to try get the same result and have a crack at Kenwick the week after! Swan view came down to the kennel to watch us take care of ellenbrook and kenwick made pretty light work of Cockburn and will no doubt be heading to light street this week to have a good look at next weeks opponent!

On to this weeks games

Dianella Vs Balla
Round 9 – at light street DM did it pretty easy against Balla winning 82 -55
Round18- at kingfisher the results were reversed with balla winning by 16 points

I think Ballajura may win this one, they got the job done last week and will be full of confidence, Dianella will be glad to be back home and are usually a couple goal better side at home so will come close, but I think balla in an awesome game that will be decided by less than a kick, Balla by 4 points....hopefully it is tough bruising game of footy 

Brentwood Vs Swan View
Round4 – at brown park, brentwood got the points winning 82 -60
Round13- at Karoonda, brentood again got the points this time winning by 13 points, so swan view definitely improved!

This should be a great game as they have been over the last couple of years, credit to both teams coming up a grade and now playing off in an elimination final to host a replay of last year’s grand final! Obviously plenty at stake here with the losing team packing up for the year and the winner moving on to play another week. I am confident Brentwood can get the job done here, they have had the measure of swan view over the last 4 -5 times they have played but under no circumstances will they take them lightly as Swan View will want to prove a point after last year’s grand final loss and would love nothing more than to beat us on our own home ground! Swan View will also have their colts playing at Karoonda so should have plenty of support and some available to double up if required, where brentwood’s colts are not in the final so will all be available for selection, will be interesting down at the kennel on Thursday night to see who makes the team! Brentwood will win by 4 goals

I think most of us are headed out to Karoonda to watch our reserves to be honest. interesting to see if our boys can respond to last weeks touch up.

as for the other games
I'll take Dianella in the league by a point
Ballajura in the reserves by a goal
Brentwood by 3 goals

have only seen one colts game this year so can't really comment too much on those games.

Should be a good final series.

Well done to the Balljura boys for getting their top three teams into the qualifying final after a lean few years. Here's hoping for three wins!!

DM vs balla should be very good game but DM should do it by 3 goals.
Brentwood vs swan view, brentwood at home should do it but its finals anything can happen. brentwood by 6 goals.

ressie: Balla vs DM not sure who to go for but i think DM its at home. DM by 4 point.
Kenwick vs cockburn after last week i would have to say cockburn i think kenwick has a few players out this year. Cockburn by 5 goals.

Looking forward to getting down to Karoonda on Saturday with a good crowd for what will hopefully be 2 wins for us.Its been a mighty effort to reach the finals.Will be interesting at selection as I noticed one Dayle Garlett around the traps on Tuesday.I wonder if there will be a spot for him in either side.I'll take Swan View in the Colts by 5-6 goals but by 10 goals if Dayle plays and our League boys to get the job done by 2-3 goals but by 7-8 goals if Dayle plays.
My tip is for Swan View to go all the way if they can get through this one!

I haven't been active this year but have been watching the progress of the Doggies. Pity I couldn't join in and help the cause, but its definitely good to see 2 of our 4 teams giving finals a crack. I know the Ressies boys will be kicking themselves for some lost opportunities this season to not be playing this Saturday.

I was back in Perth for 1 week of the footy season and that was for the scheduled Nollamara game that never went ahead, so haven't even seen them play a real game.

Nothing against Swan View, but let's go for it Doggies!
